Modem was easy to install. What I didn't know was that I had to contact my Internet Provider and have them authorize the modem on their end. That took a while but after the technician finished and rebooted the modem everything worked fine. And has been working fine ever since.

When using Optimum, they provide you with a modem/router. This model was unable to connect with our existing Orbi. The nightHawk cm1200 was easy enough to set up and is working perfectly with our Orbi!

Best Modem I’ve had

Before switching to this modem, we only get 600mbps max and Ping of >25secs with out plan. However, with this modem we get <20secs ping and 800mbps of upload speed. It maximizes what we pay to our internet provider.
Very reliable and so far no issues and We like the sleek design.

New modem increased speed

Purchased the Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 to replace CM700. First thing I noticed was increased upload and download internet speeds. Very pleased with new modem, as it performs as expected. Easy to set up and connect through ISP.
