My internet is back.

I use spectrum. So long story short. I pay for a gig only 90 down but still had 40 up. 3 techs later and a main line outside my home replace as well as 5 modem and router replacements I still had 90 down. Then I went from 90 do 8.5 mbps down. Replaced all my equipment myself used nighthawks software to get everything just right. Now I have 1200 down and 40-45 up. I think I'll just stick with netgear from now on to handle anything network related.

Net gear Nighthawk Modem

I am happy with the function of my Nighthawk cable modem after I got it installed. However I had a problem with getting it activated with the cable company. They said the MAC address was already in use and couldn’t get it installed. I took it back where I bought it and they gave me another one. I took it to my cable provider’s store and the had they same issue with the MAC address already in use. After an hour of computer magic they finally got it activated. Too much effort for something that should have been simple.

CM1200 Modem

Boy nice and fast I was paying for speed that I couldn’t get with my old modem. No thanks to Xfinity. The only down part was getting Xfinty to initialize the new modem, was on the phone with them for 45 mins. trying to sell me stuff. Netgear thanks for a great modem.

Very good product easy to install I have Cablevision provider I just give the MAC address and less than 10 minutes I have my my my Internet back I would recommend his Product
