I needed a new cable modem for my Orbi system at my vacation home. The older Nighthawk modem was starting have issues. It was easy to hook up and appears to have better speed. Very happy.

Simple to setup, activate and administer. Was able to use the DSL MAC to enable the modem myself on the xfinity web site. Speeds have tripled over my old Docsis 3.0 modem.

Bought this 2 years and Cox couldn't get it to work. Tried again Jan 2025 and once again Cox couldn't get it to work. It's my honest opinion that Cox is the problem. Two good installers and concerned service agents couldn't over come Cox's ignorant world of confusion when it comes to electronic service. I'm back to my CM500 and two full days of trial and error to get my service back working. Do I win the money now?

Setting up my CM1200 was a breeze. What most impressed me was I needed some assistance with my Netgear Orbi Mesh connected to the CM1200. Called support. Voice right away. Excellent support as very patient, knowledgable, and professional. Best call in support I have had in years!! Highly recommended Netgear products.
