The installation was good with most problems on the ISP side and activation. I paid extra for the CM1200 thinking it had four LAN ports than functioned independently and would not need a switch. It does not and I have not figured out the use for these ports and had to buy the switch. Otherwise the modem functions well and is found to be a suitable replacement for the one leased monthly from the ISP. I am glad I made the purchase.

Great modem/router firmware updates could cause problems depending on ISP. I’d recommend CM1000.

Great but quick start directions confusing.

Overall excellent! Works as advertised. Be careful of quick start directions. Step three says wait up to 10 minutes for modem to initially boot up until online light stops blinking. Step four says call cable company to activate. In reality these steps need to be reversed or blinking light never stops?

Good modem

It works pretty good in my 3 bedroom house while it’s upstairs I still game out downstairs with 12 other devices connected. 2 of those others are also PlayStations. If you’re wondering what kind of devices we have connected they’re mostly all streaming at the same time. Definitely recommend
