Great Modem despite the bad rma process

Modem works great although the first one went bad after 9 months. The rma process took hours and was a serious waste of my time. The modem is very fast and works well and the replacement has caused no issues.

Ports are failing, only one port left

Bought it to be comfortable and to not worry about it but one after another one, ports are failing, now one lan port left and might fail any time soon.

Netgear CM1200 Modem

Needed to improve internet speeds and had great luck with my old netgear modem so I never considered any other brand. Looked at several models and settled on the CM1200. Working great so far. Well pleased.

I would like to give it a 5 star but there is no way to put password on the signal like other routers. I can only change the admin password. And is not what i need.

Love the router

Just upgraded our internet and got rid of cable switching from spectrum (100 Mbps) to WOW (1 gbps) internet. Ran a few speed tests and only ever managed to top out at around 700 Mbps. Switched over to this Netgear modem and got rid of the wow provided one and now Im getting 950 Mbps. Love it and highly recommend!
