I have had multiple Netgear devises over the years and the Netgear Nighthawk Docsis 3.1 in combination with the Orbi 850 are by far the best I have owned. I had an issue after a power outage crashed my system. Once I got through the Tech Support que it was fixed in about 15 mins. The support team was very knowledgeable of my system and helpful with my issue. My only complaint is the amount of time spent in the que. Which was almost 2 hours. After being hung up on 3 times and being transferred back to the beginning of the call que twice. I’m giving 5 stars because of the quality of the system and once I got a hold of tech support the quality of service I received.

Great when it works with Comcast XFinity

This modem has all the power in the world. But I've had nothing but issues with it on Comcast. Netgear support is horrible, they want to charge you to even talk to them after 90 days, and their advanced level support kept saying i needed all 8 upload channels to be locked or it wouldn't work. I feel they sub contracted their support, and it shows, it's the worst.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This modem absolutely soars over the competition. Fast and powerful. It covers a lot of ground in seconds. Fleet, light-weight, agile. Easy to set-up. Broadband takes flight.
