The CM1200 is clearly the best modem I’ve owned. Picks up 100mbps more than my last Linksys modem. Easy to install and quick professional support. Could not be happier.

Very good modem. I use it with an orbi wifi 6 router and it works very well. Occasionally disconnect from Comcast and has to be restarted which is annoying but I don’t know if it is the modem or a Comcast problem. Apart from that it is a 5 star machine.

I had an issue with the password and was advised to return the system and get a new one. However, when I called back and spoke to another person, I was told how to reset the password without returning the system. It's hard to get to a tech that understands their job.

Please with the purchase overall. Getting full 1Gps speed on the router with minimal loss from modem direct wiring
Signal connection has dropped 4 times in 2 month requiring each time a call to Netgear great customer service. Fixed right away. More of a modem issue

Replaced existing modem. Netgear makes setup easy. Within minutes modem was online. Connected netgear router and extender. Finally have whole house wifi and can now go outside and use internet. It also gives a steady signal to my ring cam floodlight which old modem did not. I watched a lot you tube videos and stressed over which one to get. Modem cm1200, router rax120. I bought the netgear extender previously for my old modem. Without extender I have total coverage. My daughter was able to connect in our neighbors front yard. My theory is if you are going to buy then get more than you think you need, better to have too much coverage than not enough
