Installation was easy and internet speed was great, matched with provider speed advertised. The down side is it had 4 ports and only one port can be used unless subscribe with multi IP address with provider.

Frustrating connection experience

I purchased a new Netgear modem a router. I had no problem working with my internet provider in getting the modem working, but despite help from the we could not get it to connect to the router - both Netgear products! Spectrum gave me the Netgear number but the person I spoke to wold not help me because I didn’t have some of the purchase information. He basically told me I had one call with Netgear - like being arrested and getting one phone call! This is ridiculous. It should quick, easy and flawless to get two products from the same company to “Talk” to each other. I had to get external technical help to get it working. Not good service.

Easy to use and install, approved for Spectrum and had no problems with Spectrum assisting in the installation and it ROCKS !! FAST and reliable.

Im still not 100% on this modem. The first one i purchased was bad and the second is having download lick issues. The modem has 4 ethernet ports on the rear but doesnt have dhcp so you cant use them. Why put 4 ports on the back of one of the most expensive modems on the market if you cant use them.....

great modem i have had no issues with it atm it works great with my xfinity gb speed i feel it works better then the modem xfinity offers my internet feels way faster no lags in between streams or game play thanks netgear
