bought this to pair up with our new nighthawk AX12-Tri-Band AX router.for mediacom gig service.Install was a breeze .I am telling you i have been a netgear customer for years and will continue to be. This modem does what it should as have all my netgear products .

Musical Firmware

The modem worked flawlessly from the date of purchase. However, for some reason my ISP felt it necessary to push out their own version on updated firmware which created all kinds of issues. Netgear tech support gave the requisite information to provide my ISP to ‘unscrew’ their firmware screw-up.

CM1200 Cable Modem review

So for the CM1200 was an easy setup. The connection was easy and seamless by my ISP provider. I have no complaints how the product working. For none technical persons setup is a breeze.
