Excellent Modem for Gigabit Service

We needed to update our modem in order to handle gigabit internet service from Cox, and it works perfectly. We have gone from a download speed of 164mbps to 827mbps, and upload from 10mbps to 34mbps. We are using an Orbi RBS10 router and 2 satellites mesh network.

Very Fast

I decided to get rid of my ISP’s equipment, which stopped working. I connected the new modem and the speeds were blazing fast. Very happy. It was a good decision.

Break from Internet Provider equipment

Been hearing about IP tactics to get their costumers to upgrade services and equipment. Netgear was my choice to own my the equipment I need. Would recommend to anyone.

Died once within a year.

It died 9 months after I bought it. Had to pay for shipping on the rma.
It was NOT plug and play. Unfortunately xfinity is picky and it knows the modem has changed so they will secure the internet until you notify them of the new modem. After that is done, everything works flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Returned modem. Was assured it was Cox compatible. After 3 hours on the phone with NETGEAR saying it was a Cox issue and Cox saying it was a NETGEAR issue - we gave up.
