I like the Nighthawk that was recommended to me by Sparklight representative. My only complaint is I should be able to set my own user name and password like the Belken modems. My oassword could easily be compromised, It's too simple.

Box misleading label was the beginning of the issues for this device. Bought it to replace the Comcast rental unit; the CM1200 comes with 4 ethernet ports

Great modem for good price

The modem has worked without a hitch, and registering it with internet provider was a snap.
The speed is much better than the modem it replaced. Highly recommended.

Best upgrade ever.

So when we moved to San Antonio, after several months we noticed our internet and wifi was sluggish even when we purchased the fastest internet package. Did a bit of researched and got the Netgear CM1200 since the fastest I can get from my internet provider is 1000 mbps. The CM1200 was easy to install and activation from internet provider was fast. The CM1200 connects to the internet during bootup faster than the previous modem. And Ive been getting speeds up to 980mbps. Paired this up with a mesh wifi router and can definitely say Im very satisfied with this upgrade.
