Better than Spectrum Modem

This modem is better than the Spectrum modem for the 1gig plan. Price was a bit high since Spectrum may include modem in plan now with the 1 gig.

Great when it works, but you'll know when it starts dying

CM1200 work great for about 9 months, I have gig service and pretty tech savvy, and it consistently gave over 900 mps... until it didn't. First my speed started to drop, 800, 600, 300, and 100 mps. Next I had to reboot the device all the time because it would just drop offline, once a month, once every two weeks, once a day. Netgear RMA the old device, but like others have said, you may need to ship the old device first, to get a new one, Netgear can offer to ship a new one first with the RMA but you must pay for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blazing fast speed is capable of the 1 gig speed of my xfinity plan. It’s also able to handle any future upgrades and works great with my new rax30 netgear router!

I had a rough time getting this connected, but it wasn't the modem it was my internet provider. I am considering getting a, netgear router, but I need to do more research.

The Nighthawk CM1200 is a very good modem to be used in replacement of any cable internet modem because it is faster and has many more features than your ordinary cable modem plus it completely eliminates that monthly rental fee of any cable internet modem!
