It was time to ditch Xfinity rental equipment the cost was out of site .
After doing my research Netgears Nighthawk was my choice and Imade the correct one ,easy to setup and …….it works .

Great Modem

I replaced a CM1100 with the CM1200 at the suggestion of our ISP tech due to us being on a gig plan.
I have it paired with the RBK752 and am getting exceptionally fast speeds.

Not what I was expecting

I purchased this modem to replace the modem rented from my ISP. I purchased this one in particular because of the four available ethernet ports, I have now learned that only one port can be used at a time which is disappointing to me but not the fault of the product. One star off just because I didn't do proper research.

The specs on the DOCSIS 3.0 modem I replaced should have been able to handle 100% of what my ISP can deliver, but my internet speeds per speedtest.net are about 30% faster with this CM1200 modem. It's my first Netgear modem. I got sick of my M....... and A.... modems crapping out every couple of years. I've had Netgear switches

This Netgear Router is the best r I have ever had.
I had trouble getting it set up, It was not as simple as the ratings said, but it is a better Router than any other that I have used.
