Connected easy after my Internet provider registered.. Plugged into router with no issues. Still cannot connect a PC/iMac directly to cable modem to verify internet speeds. Never obtains a IP address.. Tried to chat with NETGEAR Support, not a lot of help.. Was thinking of pairing a NETGEAR Mesh WiFi System but now rethinking this as a choice... Will be looking at other WiFi 6 / Mesh Systems to pair with the CM 1200

With the CM1200 I actually get a speed that I pay for. The providers equipment did not work near as good. I highly recommend this to anyone considering a change.

Got the range extender with this ... there is a port issue with this unit as well. Plugged in my older Netgear and worked fine ... re-did this and only one port would work.
