Purchased for residential Gig speed internet. This modem is probably overkill for my application but is working great! Everything is as advertised, simple set up and configuration! Recommend 100%

do not waste your money renting a cable modem from your provider! The CM1200 will blow them out of the water with the potential 2Gbps download speeds and DOCSIS 3.1 standards.

Fast and easy self install for gigabit internet on Xfinity. Only complaint would be it is too tall to place on the shelf space I have available. Wish there was a lay it on it side option.
