Worked but upgraded

Purchased as upgrade for Xfinity 1G compatibility. It worked for a few hours, then did not. Tech call with Netgear revealed issues with power levels from Xfinity. Xfinity confirmed and fixed. However, saw a package deal to upgrade to the CM 2000 with net gears mesh WiFi for about the same price so exchanged all.
The CM2000 is working well and the Netgear Mesh WiFi is great.
It keeps loosing connectivity. Spend a little more in some other modem more reliable.

I have bought Netgear equipment for many years / no question that the 1200 is one of the best purchases I have made. Though Xfinity had to assist in activation - the product worked out of the box. And it ours the fastest cable modem I have used / supporting nearly 1 Gb speed.
I bought the cable modem as an upgrade for my older Nighthawk cable modem. I decided I wanted more flexibility with a stand alone router. The Netgear Nighthawk Multi-gig was very easy to get up and running and gives me the ability to push high speed throughout my home for streaming and game play.
The installation was easy. The speed was great. Tech support is great, they even called me back a few times. My only issue was connecting it to my Magic Jack phone system and my Hue lighting system. I don't know where the problem was but I sadly had to return it.
The modem works great but I was informed that only one of the 4 output ports are available unless I pay my ISP for additional licenses. I bought the thing under the impression that all 4 ports are available.
After registering with Comcast, the modem worked flawlessly, and I had download speeds greater than my plan speed. I have it paired with a Netgear R7000 router.
