Needed a change

Replaced my stock Comcast X1 modem with this because I went through 3 of them in about 18 months for various issues, the latest of which was a firmware update that throttled the modem and bottlenecked the bandwidth essentially preventing me from doing my job. With no change to my plan, I already have at least a 30% speed increase thanks to this new modem. Couldn't be happier, and should have done it a long time ago.

Good, needs improvement

The modem works great, looks nice, and has a good design that is easy to hide, but I don't see a purpose for having 4 ethernrt ports. If only one works, why would you need more than one ever? There is no purpose and it can easily cause confusion when setting up.

If using Cox in Arizona, you need to set this value on the Connection page:

Set this to 210000000, save and the router will reboot. The default scan start is too high and this allows your downstream to stay fully locked without getting "window violations" which will make the Downstream light blink constantly as well as make your life painful with constant re-syncs.
