Buggy port aggregation

A higher rating is justified when port aggregation is more reliable. A model with at least one 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps, and 10Gbps port would have been better.

Very nice modem with clear installation instruction. My ISP is Comcast so everything is automatic as I don’t have to call Comcast to report the new modem.

No link aggregation to RAX devices

I've had the Cm1200 (couple with an RAX120) for three months now. Thus far it has been reliable, maintaining a constant uptime with no issue. Speeds to the router are consiststently over 900Mbs with a cat6 cable. Unfortunately the link aggregation that is advertised does not work well. When it works speeds reach up to 1.2Gbs however this only last for a couple hours and then speeds drop to 20-30Mbs. I and several others have raised this issue to Netgear however after several months there is still no fix. This is a solid modem, I just wish all features worked as advertised. If Netgear fixes the issue this device would definitely be 5 star.

Avoid at all costs!!

Bought into all new Netgear equipment and this was a disaster! Problematic hardware and Netgear refuses to acknowledge the issues or support their customers!

Nighthawk CM-1200

The first week performance so far has been adequate for my cm 1200 modem, paired with a net gear router. Disappointing dropouts over web browsing has lead to a four star rating, as this has happened way too often. Also slow upload on some apps used as well.

Activated the modem with Spectrum and it worked for 16.5 hours. Then it started rebooting over and over. Spectrum didn't see anything wrong other than the modem connecting and reconnecting. I went back to my 9-year old modem (also Netgear CM500).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
