Pros -easy to set up - seems to be doing the job just fine
Cons - too bulky. I did barely fit it into the cable box. My old CM500 did fit better. - I wish that instead 4 LAN Ethernet ports It had 1LAN and 1 out of bound management port. I know, it should not be in the Cons section
Returned modem. Was assured it was Cox compatible. After 3 hours on the phone with NETGEAR saying it was a Cox issue and Cox saying it was a NETGEAR issue - we gave up.

Plugging everything in was easy. The part where Xfinity have to activate it was time consuming. Resetting to factory setting helped clear activation hurdles.
Spotty/frequent signal drops, was supposed to be an upgrade to an old modem, but the old modem performed better than this new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
