After a session with Netgear tech, I spent more than 2 hours with my cable company trying to have them register the

Verified Purchase:Yes
Activated the modem with Spectrum and it worked for 16.5 hours. Then it started rebooting over and over. Spectrum didn't see anything wrong other than the modem connecting and reconnecting. I went back to my 9-year old modem (also Netgear CM500).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced a comcast modem with this and couldn't be happier, It's connectivity and speed are amazing. You will be happy if you purchase this model. We have noticed a huge increase in speed. Thank you.
