Another quality product from NETGEAR. So easy to set up and works like a dream, Like all their products. After 5 or 6 NETGEAR products I cannot imagine I would ever buy another brand of networking technology.

We had been using a combined modem/router for almost 4 years. It was not delivering what our provider was making available to us. The Nighthawk was recommended with a couple of others. We chose the Nighthawk, installed it and were up and running in no time. Also, it runs a lot cooler (less power)!

This is my 3rd Netgear modem and I have not been disappointed. The Netgear Router I purchased at the same time is giving me issues. Tech support hasn't gotten back with me in several days now.

Solid modem but quirky

Minus one star for confusing directions. Ex, not every internet carrier automatically recognize/enable this modem. I finally figured out that I had to contact my carrier's technical support before I could do anything else. You (the owner of the modem can NOT change user name. The use of the same username on every modem sold weakens security of your network. How dumb is that?? Minus another star: after connection completed and two ORBIs set up the internet connection occasionally hesitates. Has to be ORBIs, right? Nope. Happen when I ethernet straight into modem. Nice
