Musical Firmware

The modem worked flawlessly from the date of purchase. However, for some reason my ISP felt it necessary to push out their own version on updated firmware which created all kinds of issues. Netgear tech support gave the requisite information to provide my ISP to ‘unscrew’ their firmware screw-up.

bought this to pair up with our new nighthawk AX12-Tri-Band AX router.for mediacom gig service.Install was a breeze .I am telling you i have been a netgear customer for years and will continue to be. This modem does what it should as have all my netgear products .

I am not technical person at all. I was able to easily replace my existing modem with this modem and connect to my router. I did have to call NETGEAR support but they were great and resolved my issue in no time! Huge NETGEAR fan.

Flawless performance. Poor documentation.

This modem works very well in delivering the speed promised by my ISP. Unfortunately the four port hub doesn’t perform as one would expect. It’s one fully active, three passive. This took hours of calls with Netgear support agents to uncover. Fairly frustrating and a bit pricey for what it does, however, thus far it’s worked well with my Wi-Fi router and provided great connectivity.

Easy to connect, approved by my internet provider. Will save lots of money over the years not having to pay the monthly fees the internet provider charges for their modem.
