I replaced an almost 6-year-old Surfboard with this. Installation was plug and play with Comcast's app, and speeds have been great. The modem also has less annoying lights on it than the Surfboard did. It is gigantic, however. I did not realize it would be so tall. But it's not wide, at least.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgraded from an older NETGEAR cable modem and installation was simple and internet speeds are noticeably faster. Makes sense to stick with what works and these cable modems just work!

I just moved and upgraded my internet service so I needed a faster modem. This is fast, stable, and was easy to connect to my ISP. I'm enjoying my blazing fast downloads!

I bought an orbi router for better coverage, but now downloading games eveyone is getting the buffering. So i bought a modem that's faster but still buffering

I have the CM1200. Its performance and capability is great. The hardware is solid, reliable and decently designed. The app however is not working for me. Yet it’s still worth getting.
