They are currently shipping 2.0 version of ProAdapt Hybrid medium. It is nothing like what I tested in 2 different showrooms. 2.0 is like sleeping on a park bench. Returned for refund. This is my second Tempur-Pedic and will be my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't have anything bad to say about the mattress, just that I don't get the cooling effect of the mattress with a mattress cover over it. I like to have a mattress cover to protect from the dead skin and bacteria that can get in mattresses, but I've noticed that it completely blocks, at least the cover that I got from the store, the cooling effect that the mattress is supposed to give.

Sagging after a two years

Was great first year till it snagged so bad had a replacement which after a year is sagging as well. Will never buy one again. Sleeping on the floor I have a bad back and spent allot of this mattress. They do not last like they used to. Very unhappy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really liking the ProAdapt so far, especially because it has an easy way to elevate both the head and legs with a simple click of a button. However, I wish it had been designed with the bed frame in mind. We had a bit of a struggle getting it set up and making it work well with the king-size frame I bought separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had owed a Tempur-Pedic Classic for 18 years and needed a new replacement. I did my homework and found out that the Tempur-ProAdapt was the replacement for our old mattress. My wife was a little hesitant at first but she went along with my choice. What a difference! It was like sleeping on the old mattress when it was new. It may feel really firm but it truly conforms to your body giving you the best sleep. I have extreme back issues but after sleeping on the new Temp-ProAdapt I felt like a new man again. Thanks Tempur-Pedic!

Cooling Function Great, Not So Soft

I sleep warm so the cooling capabilities are nice compared to my prior mattress. I have a bad back and was hoping to see improvement int his area, but after 1 mo, has not happened yet. It is still in breaking period so will be patient, but expected to be softer by now.

My husband and I both suffer from painful joint , muscle problems. Salesperson said this mattress would be our best choice. It's not soft enough for me .
