Uncomfortable heating from mattress while sleeping

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. The bed is great. The shoulder pain my wife and I used to have with our old bed is gone. We're both sleeping better and getting more restful sleep. I'm waking up more ready for the day than I have in years. We both fall asleep easier too.

So comfortable

I felt like Goldilocks trying out the Firm, Medium and Soft Tempur-ProAdapt mattresses! We settled on the Medium as it was "just right" for us. I suffer from scoliosis, hip problems and a herniated disc in my lower back and our previous mattress just aggravated the pain causing poor sleep and then mobility in the morning. That is no longer the problem. I sleep well and roll out of bed in the morning with little to no pain and ready for an active day.

However, it had reached the time to be replaced. After a discussion with a Tempurpedic Representative I came to the decision to purchase the Tempurpedic-ProAdapt: Medium. I am so happy with my decision. When I slip into my bed at night it is such a wonderful experience. I've never slept so good! I look forward to sleeping on my new mattress every night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my bed for about a month. I was used to medium firm with another memory foam mattress but the medium Pro-Adapt is much firmer - in my opinion you would have to be 350lb+ for the medium to give enough to be sufficiently comfortable without a topper. I resolved this with the TempurPedic brand topper, which is excellent, but you could also just get the soft mattress which I suspect is plenty firm. The bed as it is now has helped my sleeping significantly and am glad that I purchased it.

Won't go back to traditional mattress

Fell in love with this bed. Helps provide relief for my bulging L4 L5 disc in my back. Also has helped me to stay in REM sleep longer than before. Oddly enough I've become a back sleep when I was a habitual side sleeper. If we ever need a new mattress, we'll definitely be getting a tempurpedic.

Great experience at the Dallas flagship Tempur-Pedic store! Rick Pobanz did a fabulous job helping me to find and select new mattresses. His extensive knowledge of the different mattresses made the difference in being able to find new mattresses. He never applied pressure to make a decision. He asked questions, listened to my feedback and then recommended different mattresses to try. As a result, we have slept better without waking up multiple times during the night due to discomfort. Very grateful for the help and very happy with our new mattresses
