[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my back pain exacerbated 2years ago, I bought a tempur-proadapt firm for my guest bedroom first because I didn't want to give up my beloved mattress. Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.
After the sticker shock, we found this to be the best mattress decision in the past 40 years! Unbelievably comfortable and love the way it conforms to my body.
We just purchased the Tempur-pedic Pro Adapt medium mattress and couldn't be happier. The mattress provides wonderful support and is comfortable to sleep on. It takes a few days to get used to the mattress when coming from a coil mattress, but the transition time is worth it. My wife sleeps on her back and I'm a side sleeper. I've experienced hip pain for quite some time, and the Pro Adapt has really eliminated that. The mattress really conforms to your body and removes pressure points. I'm very glad that we switched to this mattress and would highly recommend!!
Switching Tempurpedics after 15 years helped my shoulder

We have been happily sleeping on Tempurpedic mattresses for 20+ years. Recently, though, I developed shoulder arthritis, and I was waking up with shoulder pain. We switched our old (still good!) firm Tempurpedic for this softer version. No more shoulder pain! Tempurpedic mattresses have consistently given us our best sleeps. As our bodies change over time, updating the style of mattress we sleep on makes good sense. (Our friends' six-foot, six-inches adult child was delighted to adopt our like-new king-size mattress, and loves it as much as we did. Tempurpedics seemingly 'last forever.')
