For the most part, I like the feel of the mattress. I sleep soundly, at least when I can sleep. The biggest issue is that this thing is an oven. It absorbs and holds body heat until I wake up in a boiling sweat, usually around 3:00 in the morning. If I get out of bed and let it cool down for a half hour or so, then I can make it till morning. But by then the night's sleep is ruined. This was my first memory foam, and will likely be my last.
I believed Tempur-Pedic to be a superior mattress and now left with buyer's remorse. The persuasive saleman ensured me beyond a shadow of a doubt that this mattress would be perfect. According to their "bed match technology," it suggested a firm mattress and the showroom mattress was a lot different from the mattress that was delivered. The saleman said that it will take 30-days for the bed to not be so firm. This has not been the case and now I preparing to return this mattress. My suggestion is take the time to research and don't believe everything the saleman says. I thought I would get what I paid for and Tempur-Pedic Pro Adapt didn't deliver. I feel overcharged and oversold.
We had tried many online mattress companies, but in the end, most seemed to just try and copy what Tempurpedic has. We purchased through a retailer store, Denver Mattress, for my wife and I, we have to always try before we buy the old fashioned way. We bought the pro-adapt soft, the most comfortable bed ever! This material hugs you and doesn't sleep too warm, the new cover is very nice and I am glad we made the investment. I slept 12 hours our first night which I haven't done in years! No back or hip pain, this stuff is truly revolutionary. I highly suggest it, get it, it makes your whole day so much better. The soft material really contours to your body and we love that one person can move in and out of bed without disturbing one another. Expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for and can you put a cost on feeling well the next day.
I just had a Tempur Pedic mattress delivered. It was supposed to be Queen size, but it's a few inches shy in its dimensions. No way is it 60" x 80"--more like 58" by 76".

I was a big advocate of Tempur Pedic until now. I bought an advantage firm mattress 9 years ago. I loved it until it began to severely sag over the past year. They have a 10 year full replacement warranty. Warranty department said they will cover it but want to replace it with a medium support and if I want a firm support they will charge me $1700.00 for an upgrade. I don't want an upgrade I want firm replaced with firm. That is all I want. The difference between the mattress they approved(adapt medium) and the pro adapt firm is $800.00 retail. I offered to pay that but they refuse. They want $1700.00. This is not a warranty at all. The mattress they approved is not the most like my mattress because it is not firm. When I explain that to customer service they are very rude. So very disappointing.
Replaced our 15 year old Tempurpedic with the Pro Adapt and an adjustable base. Zero Gravity is my new home! Do buy a Tempurpedic mattress, but DON'T BUY A TEMPURPEDIC MATTRESS WITHOUT AN ADJUSTABLE BASE.
