[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously owned a basic tempurpedic and needed an upgrade to a firmer, cooler option. This was a perfect fit for support, cooling, and relief from sciatica pain. The first night was the best sleep I have had in a very long time. If you have lower back or joint issues, definitely get this mattress.

Questionable comfort

It feels odd. I don't think I really like it. Once you get comfortable on it, it is hard to change positions. It is like you have to pull yourself up out of the pocket your body has made, back up onto a level surface so you can move to a new position. My sleeping has not improved at all and neither has my wife's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had it for a month. I have back issues which can be good or bad, depending on the bed. So far...on the fence. Back hasn't felt that great in the morning. I am gonna give it some time before I reject it as we have 120 days to return and sales person said it has a 'breaking in' period. Hopefully not my BACK! Love the adjustable bed frame!

Very pleased with Medium Hybrid

We tried several brands and several types of mattresses "in store". Interestingly, every sales person we spoke with (over three different trips) said they either own the Temperpedic or wish they owned the Temperpedic. We have been very pleased.

Husband and I both experiencing horrible back/hip pain now

We let the sales rep talk us into the over priced torture chamber that we can not afford. Was told that we needed to spend this kind of money if we wanted better sleep. We even let them talk us into giving the entire return period a test because it was just our body getting used to it. Absolutely hate the thought of going to bed now because I know of the torture that awaits. Not only can we not afford this mattress that I absolutely hate but now our Dr bills are astromical as we try to find relief elsewhere. Sad that the couch is more comfortable/supportive and that there isn't enough room for us both to sleep on it. I have been let down by Mattress Firm every time I have trusted them to help me find comfort.
