Great Mattress but unable to register it for warranty

We bought our bed set at a Home and Garden show from a business in Kansas (We live in Oklahoma) Our mattress did not come with the tag that is required for warranty. We zipped off the top cover and it wasn't on the cover, under the cover, nor on the mattress. We were told over and over that it's on the mattress and most people have a hard time finding it, so we kept looking. We took off the top cover and bottom cover of the mattress to where it was just the organic mattress and it was no where to be found. I called Tempurpedic and they said it's on the mattress and to keep looking. We stripped down the mattress for the 5th time. There is no tag! We looked on line and multiple people have had problems trying to find this tag. Why does Tempurpedic expect its customers to go through this frustration to warranty a mattress? Tempurpedic said they couldn't assign it a number so it could be warrantied. This is our first Tempurpedic bed set and except for the comfortable mattress it has not been a good experience.
I love this bed probably more than my husband, but I can honestly say that with fibromyalgia and the hip pain I feel sleeping in most beds has been relieved sleeping on the pro-adapt. My husband is still adjusting to it so his opinion is still on the table. We have the adjustable frame but have not had to really use that much yet.
I was so excited to purchase this mattress, now I am disappointed! The lower lumbar back pain and hip pain I am feeling after sleeping on this mattress is excruciating! Was hoping for a good night sleep and to wake up refreshed but instead I wake up in pain!
Prior to trying this mattress, I only thought I liked my mattress. I had a "memory foam" type mattress and tried to convince myself that it was comfortable. I still woke up with sore muscles...thought I was just "getting old". The first night I slept on our new mattress, I thought it might not be "soft" enough?? Nope. Woke up with NO soreness in my joints. I have also noticed a remarkable difference in not getting so hot at night! The old mattress "held heat" and I would often wake up sweating from being too hot. This one does not do that. Worth the money!
It's one of those things you buy and really enjoy. You actually look forward to a night of sleep each day. My medium is what I chose after being a customer from 11 years ago. I wanted comfort, help for my lower back, legs and got it. Truly a great invention. Would never go back to a plain mattress. There are several varieties of Tempurpedic so try them out and see what suits you. I personally like the soft and medium varieties and the Pro Adapt was the finishing touch on a great night of sleep. Wake up refressed for the start of a new day.
We purchased 2 twin xlong about 2 months ago and they were great for first 2 weeks, then we started to get back and hip pain. We are not pleased with this bed.
I am an elderly woman with the usual aches and pains. My night's sleep is a wonderful experience. I tried another mattress for a few weeks but had to exchange it for a tempurpedic. I love it.
