This is a replacement for a tempur-pedic that 'lost it's memory' and sagged. This new mattress is extremely hard, but we really love it! We got so used to sleeping on the bad mattress that this one actually took us a few nights to get used to, but it has been well worth it! We knew from trying one out in the store that it didn't quite have that 'contouring' effect, but our last two mattresses had that and sagged within a short period of time. I have high hopes for this mattress!! Also, I'd like to say that tempur-pedic really stands behind their mattresses and my claim was handled very quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them!

Best Mattress EVER!!

I've been a fan of Tempurpedic since 2004 and recently purchased my second mattress. I also use their pillows and they are wonderful. I get the best night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. The memory foam in this bed is so comforting I usually stay in one position and never move around the bed. PS ~ my yellow lab loves it, too!!

Great comfort and support

We've had our new Temper ProAdapt bed three weeks. As a side sleeper, I've no longer experienced the shoulder pain I previously had regularly (in the middle of the night or the morning) when waking up from sleeping on my side with my arm tucked back under the pillow. I've found in the last week that I've been sleeping straight for a longer period of time than I had before. I've also found my lower back is supported in a different way as I no longer have any discomfort when watching tv in bed after an extended period of time. I do feel more rested in the morning than I was before. I understand it takes about two months for the mattress to get broken in and for the body to settle into the new mattress... so I'm excited to see how we'll be sleeping then! I've recommended the bed already to three people. The only regret was not purchasing the pro-hi cooling pillow at the store. I was leaning toward that with the pillow thickness as a side sleeper but the salesman suggested I'd be better served with the pro-lo cooling pillow on my side. It's still very comfortable laying on my back and the cooling does make a noticeable difference, I just would prefer the thicker form factor on my side.

I've had it for a month and I never realized how bad my previous sleep was..I sleep through the night now waking up with no stiff back is a good thing as well

... the Pro is everything they said it would be. Out old TPedic was wonderful, but over 15 years old. The new Pro has given me 8-10 hours of sleep every night since it was delivered. Thanks, Richard, Va. Beach, VA
