A Game-Changer for Quality Rest

As someone who prefers a firmer mattress for better spinal alignment, it has exceeded my expectations. First off, the comfort level is unmatched. It conforms perfectly to my body, providing just the right amount of support without feeling too hard. I wake up feeling refreshed and without any aches or pains, which is a huge win for me. The cooling technology is also a standout feature. I tend to sleep hot, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well this mattress regulates temperature throughout the night. I have never slept worse in my life. My husband and I wake up sweating all night long. If you are a hot sleeper, do not get this bed! I wish I was warned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid, with its 12" queen size, provides a luxurious feel and targeted support. The combination of TEMPUR material and premium spring coils brings comfort, pressure relief, and reinforcement-a true blessing after a long day of work and a lengthy drive home. The pressure-relieving foam provides soothing support to my back problem. What I appreciate most is the breathable material and SmartClimate Cover System, ensuring I stay cool throughout the night. Waking up feeling hot and uncomfortable was a major issue for me before, but not with this mattress. Additionally, its removable and washable cover makes it super easy to keep clean. It's currently a little firmer than medium, but I understand that it needs to 'break in' to my body and will hopefully soften over time to its true feel and provide the perfect balance of support and plushness for an even more restful night's sleep. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

This bed says it has a "cooling" top. It most certainly does not. I wake up every night burning up because of how hot the mattress has gotten. I have had the worst back & hip problems since owning this bed. At first I just thought it needed time to break in and then the return period passed and it was still terrible but then too late to do anything about it. This is definitely my most regrettable purchase.

Comfortable, but not cool

I had wonderful expectations for a cool night's sleep based on my in-store trial. However, once in home and my mattress was covered with wonderfully cool sheets, the coolness only lasted for a few moments. The mattress is very comfortable and I have had a more physically comfortable sleeping experience, but once the mattress is covered with any type of sheets, there is no more cooling like in the store. I feel the representation from store sample which is NOT covered by a sheet is misleading. No one in my house sleeps on a mattress without a sheet, if I did, I suppose the cooling experience from the in-store trial could be duplicated, but this is not the case. I have tried several different materials for sheets, including the Tempurpedic brand sheets and none of them allow me to cool off like I had hoped; once in bed for more than a minute, the warmth does not leave until I uncover my body. I would give the mattress a 1 star for cooling, but since the mattress is comfortable and some of my physical discomforts have been alleviated from the mattress comfort I give it the 3.5 stars. (This is the second Tempurpedic mattress I have owned, and over the last year the 3rd mattress I have purchased. Two mattress from a different high-end mattress company were returned. I do love the lack of motion transfer from Tempurpedic, I just wish the mattress was no so hot. The review requires a yes/no for do I recommend this....a very difficult question that is not a straight forward yes or no. I recommend it based on the comfort and lack of motion transfer. I do not recommend it for the "cooling" effect I had hoped for.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so grateful for the opportunity to review the Tempur-ProAdapt, Medium, queen size mattress. Well let me start on why my husband and i are now experts on mattresses. My husband is a 250lb powerlifter and we have recently in 4 years gone through 2 mattresses. 3 mattresses in 7 years if you want to get technical. On his side of the bed where he initially sits down our past mattresses would indent after only a year or so. Also on mattresses we bought prior and spent thousands my husband always said his lower back would hurt in the morning and it would sag under his weight. Not to mention he would always say he couldnt ever get a mattress that was comfortable for his size. This Tempur-ProAdapt, Medium, Queen is absolutely worth every dollar. This is the 1st time in almost a decade where he actually sleeps soundly through the night. When he plops down on this mattress it doesn't shake my side of the bed causing me to spill my coffee. This mattress is magically good with its "proAdapt" technology, we both could feel the quality on the very 1st night. It's supportive for him and comfy for me and I'm 120lbs. So for us to find a mattress that works for us is simply amazing. We wish we knew about poAdapt mattresses sooner. We couldn't be happier!
