pleasantly surprised after swearing off memory foam

only been about 3 weeks & not regretting; firmness is great but contouring is even better! once we followed recommendation of fitted sheets w/elastic all the way around, slipping/sliding of sheets become much less noticeable during husband's movement

Pressure-relieving yet supportive

My girlfriend and I are different types of sleepers, and as a result, we prefer different firmness levels in mattresses. I'm a side sleeper and suffer from sensitive pressure points, so I need something more on the softer side. She's a combo sleeper, so she needs something more on the firmer side that offers greater support. We tried 4 other mattresses/brands before getting the Tempur-pedic, but we just couldn't agree on the comfort of any of them because of our different needs. That changed when we got the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium. I won't go so far as to say it perfectly suits our individual needs, but it's definitely the best as far as being the perfect compromise. It doesn't completely relieve the pressure on my pressure points, mainly my hip bones, but it's so minimal that I do sleep much more comfortably than I did on any of the other mattresses. My girlfriend actually preferred one of the other mattresses for the support it gave her, but she sleeps very comfortably on the Tempur-pedic. She doesn't wake up with any back pain, which is usually the case when she sleeps on softer mattresses, and has even commented on how cozy it is. We're both very happy with this mattress and would recommend it to those who are in a similar situation.

Medium is too firm

We have had a Tempropedic bed for approximately 15 years and loved it. It was time for a new bed and we went with a ProAdapt Medium, and it is too hard. I wish we would have gone with the soft, but I thought the medium would be a good fit between the soft and firm. We are disappointed in the firmness of the bed, we have had to add a topper for it, but that makes the bed too warm. It's hard to spent so much on a mattress and be disappointed with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally quality sleep!

At first I was reluctant because of the price. I'm so glad I purchased it. I have been getting the best sleep ever. I no longer have a backaches. I wish I would have purchased the mattress way sooner. I absolutely love my Tempurpedic mattress.
