Best decision I have ever made!

Best Mattress I've ever slept on

To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

Not like the original matresses

I have had a TempurPedic Mattress (the original one) for about 15-20 years. I really loved this original mattress. However, after this period of time, there was a valley starting to form where I would sleep. It is understandable due to the age. So I thought I would get a new TempurPedic mattress. There are so may to choose from now and they are quite expensive. But I bit the bullet and purchased the TempurPedic ProAdapt Medium. When un-packaged it had a terrible smell which gradually dissipated after about 3 weeks. Also the mattress seemed very hard. A much different feel than the original mattress. I was told to try it for 60 - 90 days and I would get used to it. However, I am a side sleeper and my hip hurts. But I am still trying it for 4 more weeks. I will return it and try and find another one that works better for me. My advise is be careful as they are not the same feel. I hope to find one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ruined for Life!!!

Ruined for Life!! Once you go to Tempur-Pedic there's no other mattress ever, that will compare. We tried one of their top competitors and took it back only after a week. I have extreme back issues from a car accident and when I lie down I can't even remember falling asleep. I wake up having slept like the dead.

First time venturing away from a traditional mattress/box spring set. Took a few nights to acclimate to the "settling in" effect and now love the sensation. Many mornings I wake in the same position I fell asleep in. Getting an adjustable head/foot platform is a must if like hanging out in bed. I'm hooked!

Comfortable mattress

Slept on the mattress 3 months. It's taken a bit of work to break in the mattress. I walked on it for a total of 75 minutes per my salesperson's recommendation. My back feels great most mornings. It's a little more firm than I'd like for side sleeping.
