So comfortable

When searching for a new mattress for our new home, we laid on this mattress first and nothing compared after that. We immediately had our minds made up that this mattress was the one. It didn't take very long to break in and we love it. It offers so much body support and very comfortable. Thank you Tempur-pedic!

We love our new Tempur-ProAdapt CA King mattress: it is really firm but yet so very comfortable and molding to your body. We love our purchase!

Waking up every morning stiff & in pain

Love the idea of this mattress but unfortunately I wake up every morning extremely stiff and in pain. When initially looking at mattresses and talking with a sales person, we were recommended the soft mattress due to being a side sleeper/ back sleeper at times. Really wish we didn't take the advice of our sales person & got a firmer mattress. My sleep has been awful since & overall quality of life has declined. And unfortunately are stuck with a mattress that we don't enjoy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was about time

It was about time we replaced our 20+ year old, double sided, California King, waterbed insert replacement mattress. Despite hearing that it could take time for us to "break in" our new mattress, it felt right to us from the very first night. And it is thick enough so that I can roll off the bed and barely touch the old wooden sides of the waterbed frame. So far, my only gripe came when I tried to register my mattress online. It wanted the info it said was on the mattress tag, but leaves you clueless as to where to find that tag. Never did find it, so had to have customer service register the mattress.

Serial number

I had to call the store to find out where the serial number is. Even the sales person had no idea and had to call me back after searching for it. My mattress is on a bed frame with a headboard. It was very difficult for me to get to the tag with the serial number as I am less than 5 feet tall. There is a simple solution to this issue. One, the delivery guys should have pointed out where the number is and that it is needed for the warranty and allowed me to get the number while they were there to lift the mattress. Two, how about putting this tag and number on the end of the mattress instead of the head. Because of dealing with this and trying to lift the mattress, I now have a pinched sciatica!

We have slept better on the Tempur pedic mattress than our previous mattress but don't feel completely wowed by it. My husband feels like he is waking up less frequently. I think I don't toss and turn as much and am able to sleep most of the night in the same position without being sore so I guess those are the pluses. I am trying to love it because we spent 3-4 times more than we had planned to spend on the mattress. I am having trouble justifying its cost. I wish the mattress was deeper and that sheets would fit tighter. I have bought new sheets and tried other ones and they all seem to slide and not stay smooth. This is definitely worse than our previous mattress and I am not sure why. Maybe it is because we are using an adjustable base. Overall, we like it but feel we could have found something comparable at a better price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
