This mattress gives great support. I sleep very well with out aches and pains. I am 6' 220#. Perfect fit for me.

Best mattress ever owned

This is hand down the best mattress i have ever slept on. I was suffering from back problem when i sleep , from waking up during the night to having my girlfriend stand on my back to massage my back. Every morning when i woke up my back was in pain. After purchasing this mattress , i could say that i never woke up in any back paid after sleeping on this mattress. Owned this mattress for 3 months now. Best thing of 2020 for me

Not for stomach sleepers

We purchased this mattress after trying it out at the store and reading great reviews on it, my wife is a back and side sleeper and I'm a stomach sleeper and the salesperson highly recommended it. I have always had the standard plush pillow tops and never had an issue but we decided to try one of these out and it was a huge mistake. For stomach sleepers your lower back sinks into the mattress and cause the most uncomfortable sleep and lower back pain when you wake up. For back and side sleepers I'm sure this mattress works wonders but if you're a stomach sleeper I would highly recommend switching your sleeping position or find a compromise on a standard mattress with your significant other, this one is going back and getting exchanged for a standard pillow top again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have a Twin XL set and my wife likes her side, I am still having a bit of a time getting used to it. I have tried positions with the adjustable frame, as well as totally flat. We have slept on other memory foam (much less expensive) mattresses and slept very well, and that's why we bought these. I actually talked my wife into this one, she was not sure about it.... But I'm not sure what happening here with me - I wake up tired and sore, toss around a lot - as much or more than I did with the prev traditional mattress. Not sure how much longer I can 'test' to see if it works for me. Not sure what to do... I marked 'recommend' below because I'm sure its OK for some, like my wife.

Yippee - My back is now good!

I love the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft! Almost purchased the medium, but am so glad I chose the "soft". I still get the support I need, but there's lots of cushion so my back wakes up feeling great and not stiff and I don't walk around for 20 minutes like I need a body cast. Purchased the adjustable base also - we elevate it just a couple of inches and now I don't hear the snoring machine next to me!!! Well worth every penny. Thank you Tempur-Pedic.

I Can Sleep Again!

My husband and I were involved in a major car accident that left both of us with severe injuries, including a broken neck for me. After spending 3 months in a cervical collar and not being able to lie flat, I suffered from many issues that made sleeping comfortably next to impossible. Once I was able to lie flat, I also suffered from positional vertigo. All of my pressure points hurt and I woke up day after day feeling as if I hadn't slept a wink. We finally decided it was time for a new mattress. We went to the mattress store with a Tempurpedic in mind but decided to lie on the machine to see which mattresses were compatible for us based on our body type and sleep positions. Thankfully the mattress we had in mind was on both of our lists of compatible mattresses. When we tested the Tempurpedic, it felt amazing! We decided to get the split adjustable bases. It makes reading in bed at night so comfortable. We now both sleep incredibly. An added bonus is the elevated mattress has almost completely eliminated my husband's snoring making it easier for me to fall asleep at night! I highly recommend this mattress. It has been well worth the investment.
