I like our bed but I don't completely love it. The mattress is supposed to help keep you cool. Well it doesn't!! And that is sad for how much we paid for the mattress alone.

And this is my first memory foam mattress I've bought. I bought the pro adapt medium and I absolutely hated it for the first few weeks I owned it. I was waking up with constant lower back pain for the first few weeks, probably from my body getting used to sleeping on a new type of mattress. I also walked on the bed once or twice a day for the first month to get it to break in, and it really made a huge difference. After a month, the bed really softened up and became more like the model I tried in the store. Now, I'm in love the bed so much. Thank god because I getting kind of worried. I even went to the stores to try other beds. That's how close I was to returning it. But give it time to break in, walk all over it routinely in the beginning to get it to loosen up and you won't be disappointed. I probably just became a tempur-pedic customer for life.

I'm a tempur fan and after having the rhapsody for 10 years it was time to upgrade. I purchased this bed and it was initially hard but so was my first bed. I expected it but I did purchase the bed topper which was expensive but well worth it. I wanted a firm bed but until it settles to my body I needed a back up plan. Regardless it was worth the money!

My wife & I finally replaced our old, old sleep number mattress with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid. The coil-layer sounded like what we were looking to strike a balance between too firm and too soft and it was clearly the right choice. I used to wake up in pain due to misalignment, but not anymore! I could go on but you get the idea: it's worth the investment!

Side Sleepers Paradise

My wife is a side sleeper and I go between sleeping on my side and on my back. We have always had a Tempur-Pedic bed and they have provided a phenomenal cushion and support while sleeping on our side. Our new Pro-Adapt Medium has surpassed our expectations and created a comfortable nest for us in our bedroom that we plan to enjoy for many many years. Also, TP customer support is excellent and the delivery people are respectful and efficient.
