We like the product in the show room and wanted replace our 2010 cloud mattress but when we got the delivery the mattress never softened up, after 2 weeks of not being able to sleep more than a few fitful hours per night we returned it. This mattress was 50% more expensive than the one we loved from 2010 (also a firm) so I was not expecting this kind of quality from it.
My mattress is much firmer than the floor display model. I'm told it will soften up some over time. The soft version in the store was too soft so I hope this one works out. It slowly adjusts to your body. It's also pretty low to the ground with only the lift base beneath it. On the positive, I have less shoulder and hip pressure point pain. I once had an early version of Tempurpedic and it was hard to turn over in. Don't have that issue with this version. It is a good mattress but I don't sink into it with a sigh of relief like I had hoped. Although I do recommend it over many, its not a glowing recommendation.
I like the feel of the mattress and that it provides a pretty good night's sleep. I am worried about the future of the mattress because it has been only 2 months that we've been sleeping on it and there is definitely a difference on my side of the bed compared to the center (king size). My side has softened up quite a bit and I can feel the difference when I roll to the center...very firm. Not sure if the "settling" has stopped or will it continue to soften. I'm also worried about the side where I get out. Much softer than towards the top or bottom. I would not recommend only because of the price.
