Absolutely loved our first Tempur-pedic for 10 years. Had high expectations for our 2nd mattress and it exceeded them. So comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had been sleeping on an old mattress for years. My thought was well maybe it's time for something different. But why spend the money? So I kicked around the idea for some time. Did a ton of research and decided what the heck. Well as it turns out I waited way too long. The tempur pedic has been a game changer. I'm not a robot or a paid endorser. Although I wish I were. If anyone is reading this review you won't be disappointed. They have a money back guarantee anyway if you don't like it. Anyway I've been getting great sleep and I didn't spend a fortune.

I liked the TEMPUR-ProAdapt hybrid medium in the store but I am not very happy now that I am using the mattress. Extremely uncomfortable the first night which I was told could happen. . . Needs to be broken in. Now 4 weeks later I am still having upper arm/shoulder pain (which I did not have prior to Tempur). I am giving it time but will likely get a different mattress and pay the extra money to send back ($500 restocking fee and $50 delivery fee).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this bed for a month send I can't believe the change in our quality of sleep. This bed absolutely supports and conforms to whatever position you choose to sleep in. I wake up everyday completely refreshed.

I wished I have chosen the hybrid model, it may be softer. I did plenty research and tried out both beds many times in the stores before I puchased the proAdapt Med. I was hoping to have restful night sleep like all the other reviewers have reported. However, I have developing back and shoulder pains since on night one with this bed and the adjustable base couldn't help because the bed just too hard. Chatted with my salesman and someone in Tempurpedic both suggested gives more time. Six weeks into this new bed, I have been doing knees-walking and sitting on the bed to help breaking it in! Also every night hours before bed, I put an electric blanket on the bed and removed when time to get in. It was helpful. It feels much softer but as the warmness went away the firmness returned, on which I would be awoke with back ache and that pretty much happening nightly. Incase my back pain was more than from the bed, I had an x-ray done and shown my back was healthy, but I am starting physical therapy next week to prevent further problems. I wished I have better experience as my first time purchaser with Tempurpedic and also as first time buying a bed of 100% memory foam. I am sure Tempurpedic offer great products and I wished I have chosen the hybird model which might be a softer bed.
