[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sales person took one look at me and said...you probably need one of our Soft models. As a petite woman, my body weight is less than what a Medium mattress is designed for.

This is my 2nd Tempur-Pedic the first was 22+ years old and I thought I should get a new one. I'm sorry I had it taken away. I'm short and it is very difficult for me to get on and off of my new one because it is 12.5" deep and my last one was approximately 8". I wanted a less deep mattress but the store I purchased it from doesn't carry any slimmer Tempur-Pedic models, as I was returning another manufacture's product that I was not happy with at all, so I am stuck with it and not pleased. Wish I had purchased it elsewhere. Otherwise, I highly recommend Tempur-Pedics.

It's Very Firm But Comfortable

We tried all Tempurpedic models in store and liked the ProAdapt Firm best. I have back pain and needed a firmer mattress. We like it because it cushions hips and shoulders but is firm enough to make rolling over and getting out of bed easy. It is much better for my back than a soft bed and more comfortable than an extra firm innerspring mattress. My husband loves it despite once saying "I don't want one of those foam mattresses." We both sleep better. However we do not use a mattress protector or pad with this mattress. We tried three different protectors and they all made the bed feel way too hard and unforgiving; the mattress did not warm enough from body heat for it to soften properly. With only a sheet, it's just like the one in the showroom. Magic! Wish somebody had told me about this beforehand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bed is comfortable. I do not roll over on my husbands side, unless I want to . Our usual back pain is gone. We like that it's soft but firm. Quality of sleep has improved since our last mattress. Would have given it 5 stars but it does sleep hot. We would buy another Tempur-Pedic.

I like the new mattress but still a bit uncomfortable because it's still new. Can hardly wait til it gets "broken in". I am getting better sleep.
