Great quality but too firm

Bought the pro adapt firm model and just don't love it . Too firm ... wish we would have gotten the medium one . Missed out exchange window and was told there is nothing they could do. Very disappointed since we spent so much money on it . Was hoping they would let us exchange it at least .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super Comfortable

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

My perfect comfort level

Although it is firm, when I get into bed I sink down just the right amount. I have problems with my back and hips, since December my sleep is improving and my pain level is decreasing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wake up feeling great. If something wakes me, I have no problem falling back to sleep. This is the best mattress I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have struggled with chronic back pain (and I am only 29 years old) due to a congenital spine abnormality coupled with working long hours on my feet. I have tried numerous types of mattress (standard, gel, mix) along with toppers and was never comfortable and always ended up waking up multiple times throughout the night and with morning stiffness. I know I sound like an info-mercial but within a week of using this bed, my back pain went from a standing 5/10 to only sometimes 1/10. This mattress is incredible. It first feels very very firm but my body melts right into it and the firmness allows for support and does not hinder my turning overnight (I sleep in array of positions). My partner loves the mattress as well (different body aches, and would never have selected this level of firm to begin with) and I love that it is not as hot as expected. The ONLY (and very unfortunate negative) was the delivery. The delivery was horrific. If you live in a large city like I do, the courier is not equipped to follow your directions and if their route is not open / wide enough, etc. they will not listen to your recommendations and cancel your scheduled delivery. They are also not accommodating at all for time of delivery so if you work and do not have a flexible schedule and do not have anyone that also has a flexible schedule - it is a nightmare. Took me over 2 weeks to get it delivered based on issues with the courier and it was so horrific that it will determine when / if I purchase another.

Tempur Pro-Adapt Mattress

So far I am still trying to get used to the mattress. It's not good or bad, just totally different from anything I've slept on. The associate at the store said to give it 30 days to get used to and I always thought you either like something or you don't but I'm trying to be patient, we're about 3 weeks in. My husband is adjusting much easier than I am.

I have been a Tempur- Pedic customer since 2005. I strongly believe that Tempur - Pedic has the best products in the world. The mattress is firm and gives me great support and comfort. I am especially pleased with my sale rep, Sydney Blankenship. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to and was able to address all of my concerns. Sydney gets my vote for employee of the month.
