To hard and still not broken in

We got a medium firmness as from a tempurpedic store representative they stated this would be ok for side sleepers and in the store the floor model was comfortable and not too hard. When product was received it was very hard and not like the store model. I called and was told it takes a month to break in and I should walk on it to break it in and create more softness. It has been a month and still very hard resulting in soreness in my shoulder. Not what I expected from a this brand or cost.
I bought one tempur-pedic mattress which the store owner said was firm but our ideas of firm were not the same. I put that one in an extra bedroom and decided I had to go for really firm even though it was expensive. The first night after it was delivered, I got on it and said "I'll never be able to sleep on this," however, I did and it was the best sleep ever. Hasn't changed, wish I'd got this years ago. It's like sleeping in a very expensive hotel room bed.
I really love this mattress. It's just right for what I need for me. It fits well on my new Adjbse ERGO 3.0 Adjbse. So glad I made this discussion. THANKS
We purchased mattresses and 2 pillows. It was very bad experience. very painful to sleep on the mattress, and we will change it ASAP. The pillows was like 2 rags. waste of money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a firm mattress but it's so soft. The mattress they sent me is one of the mattress customers returned. The mattress is not new!! I am so disappointed. I don't know how many customers had own it. Also, This mattress is not made for adjustable base. The mattress slides down when I lift it up. Now I am stuck with this bed that I don't like. Think carefully before making this investment.
This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.
