My husband is a mason and is like pigpen when he comes home so it definitely gets a workout. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I love that it takes like 10 minutes to clean our wood floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product - Model 3190 series - expecting decent floor cleaning. Which it does on my hardwood floors. When it runs at all. Problem is, it picks up pet hair so fast that it shuts down within a minute or two every time I use it. Then to get it running again, you have to dismantle the bottom portion, take out the roller and pull off any hair on the ends. And I mean EVERY single bit of hair or fluff. It only takes a very little hair to clog the rollers, believe me. A few strands will do it. If you have pets that shed, this cleaner is NOT for you. Endlessly aggravating! I broke out my regular corded vacuum and it cleaned the floor - hair, dirt and all - effortlessly. I will use that from now on and use the vacuum portion of this flimsy 3190 for hand-held cleaning jobs only. DO NOT buy this cleaner if you have any pet hair around on your floors. VERY disappointed with the design of this item!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a shedding pet. It's the best thing that I ever purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I like it. I have all hard wood and tile and a few rug runners. It works well on all. I even tried it on the dog's bed and it worked but it will auto-stop in your dogs bed has loose fabric so you have to pull it with your feet so it's a taut surface. I feel like this is the vacuum for me. Good price point, compact but with a little more bells and whistles than the $20 Bissells I've been using for years. HOWEVER, reading the reviews I have seen several people say that a few months in will be the test. So I am committed to come back if any problem crop up and update this review. My $20 Bissells have lasted YEARS without problem so this much more expensive one better hang tough or me and Bissell will have a problem.
