Great Product except for 1 thing

Honestly worked great, and I was fully satisfied with it, but the hose in the foot assembly cracked after less than a year of regular use. I tried to fix it with glue and tape, but it didn't really work, as it pivots a lot. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to replace the whole foot assembly, which is almost half the price of the vacuum itself. Otherwise, it worked great
I would recommend this to a friend!

ReadyClean Cordless Stick Vacuum

My ReadyClean consistently leaves debris on the floor after passing over on hard surfaces. This occurs when fully charged, just taken off the charger. The removable handheld does a better job and picks up the left-behind debris - but if I’d wanted a hand vac I would have bought that.
I wish to add that I own a Bissell Symphony floor stream cleaner that I absolutely love and have used for years with wonderful results. I love that I can clean my hard floors well, using water alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightweight and easy to use vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ReadyClean cordless shark vacuum is a nice lightweight and easy to use vacuum for in between deep cleaning sessions. I love the design feature of just pulling the trigger button and where it’s located to bend the vacuum for easy access to underneath beds and other furniture to grab those hiding dust bunnies! It isn’t bulky and stands on its own so it’s easy to store anywhere.
One feature of this shark vacuum that I do not like is when using it on a thin rug, if the rug moves slightly the vacuum shuts off. I believe it’s a function so as not to get the rug bunched up and stuck in the vacuum but it makes it incredibly difficult to actually vacuum the thin rug even when I keep it tight and flat. On thicker carpets, this vacuum is good at the surface level but doesn’t get anything deeper.
Where this vacuum excels is hard floor surfaces and again, being able to bend the body to go underneath furniture or harder to reach places. For those reasons, I appreciate being able to use this vacuum and keep it in my bedroom so that I can easily tidy up my room and bathroom during the day and keep my floors, clean with such a lightweight and compact vacuum!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lightweight doing the heavy work

Whether you are doing a quick daily floor clean and going from wood floor to rugs, a craft spill involving glitter where the kids set up their art space or a small corner in the kitchen, the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V can handle that! Doing all that with its super light weight design.
My floors are a mix of hardwood, tiles and area rugs, and going from one surface to the next was no problem. It sucked up everything left on all of them. Pulling back on the higher piled rugs does make the machine bounce along. The best part is the design fold of the handle, making getting under smaller coaches so much easier than some of the other hand held vacuums we have used. Of course for hard to reach corners, you can pop out the smaller piece or change the attachment and get the work done. While the only downside is not having a place for all the attachments, the work this vacuum can do for your daily needs is perfect!

lightweight for light cleanup but not much else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this vacuum cleaner because of its light weight and slim profile. Easy to store. Easy to move around and use. Doesn't terrify my cats.
Sadly, it doesn't work well enough for my household needs. I have 2 cats. They shed a lot. There is always catnip and litter everywhere, especially in the carpet. I used this vacuum throughout my house which is a mix of wood floors, area rugs, throw rugs, and tile flooring. It did OK on the wood floors and tile but it really didn't do much to suck up anything on the rugs or carpet. The suction just isn't very great.
There's only one speed for the motor and it's just not enough for my household. Maybe it will be for yours, especially if you don't have pets. Or rugs.
What do I like about it? It's lightweight, doesn't hurt my arm to use it or lift it. And it doesn't scare my cats as much as bigger vacuums do. It's not very loud. It's agile - it swivels into corners and hard to reach places. It folds up if you need to store it in a small space. And it detaches into a hand-held vacuum which is great to use in the car or on furniture to get into all those crevices.
But it doesn't hold much debris - I had to empty it a few times in the course of vacuuming my whole house. And it just didn't do a very good job on the carpets/rugs. I had to go back over those with my bigger vacuum to get them clean. I also had to recharge it as the battery didn't last to do my whole house. And the recharging process took a lot longer than I wanted it to.
Overall, this is just a "light use" vacuum and my needs are greater than that. It might suffice for you, but for me it's just frustrating.

Great for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum cleaner is great for small spaces or somewhere that does not have a lot of storage. The folding handle allows you to store it in a closet or corner and not take up too much space at all. The compact design makes it so lightweight and easy to maneuver around the room. It was very easy to get underneath and around furniture with its very flexible handling and steering.
Installation was incredibly easy - I did it with one hand! Just click the handle/base into the head and you’re ready to clean!
The suction power was surprisingly strong, picking up every crumb and scrap and doing a remarkable job at lifting stubborn dog hair from the carpet.
I love how easy it is to just remove the handheld base to use independently when you don’t require the full upright vacuum. This will come in handy for those small, everyday messes.
My only complaints are the vacuum itself does not have a spot to store the edge/corner attachments and the tank is rather small and requires frequent emptying.
This is the perfect dorm size vacuum and I will be sending it with my daughter back to college in the fall!

Cordless Foldable and Efficient

I love the fact that it can fold basically in half and makes for really efficient storage especially in smaller spaces. It’s a very handy design to incorporate a handheld vacuum directly into the main vacuum. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver around and under furniture, making it very easy to clean some hard to reach places. The suction definitely feels strong enough for everyday messes on wood floor, tile, low pile rugs, and using the handheld can reach many other areas. I feel like this is a great apartment or condo vacuum since it folds so nicely and has a bunch of cool features. The best being that it’s completely cordless and the battery life seems to last a long time. I also vacuumed areas that I had previously vacuumed with my old vacuum and was shocked at the amount of dog hair and dirt that the Bissel ReadyClean Cordless picked up and that my previous vacuum had completely missed. It’s also relatively quiet and didn’t disturb my dog. Highly recommend!

Good for Light Cleanups

We have two dogs, including a Newfoundland, so pet hair is a constant battle in our house. I was hoping this would become my go-to vacuum for everyday cleaning because it’s lightweight, cordless, and easy to grab without having to pull out a full-size vacuum.
While I liked how convenient it was to use, I found the suction to be a little underwhelming for our needs. It did a decent job with small crumbs and light debris, but it struggled with the amount of dog hair we have and often required multiple passes to pick everything up. For heavier cleaning, I still found myself reaching for my upright vacuum.
Overall, I think this vacuum would work well for someone with lighter cleaning needs, smaller spaces, or fewer pets.
