Cordless Vac Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has been a great everyday vacuum for a quick clean up! It is very light weight and easy to use, and reaching far under all of my furniture. I loved how each it was to take out the handheld portable part and will continue to use this for my quick pick ups. It would not be my go to for a whole house clean and I wish it had a different charging port, but overall I really like it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the Bisell ReadyClean cordless 10.8v vacuum. One of my favorite features is how lightweight it is. I have a 2 story home, so this is perfect for carrying it up and down the stairs and even vacuuming the stairs themselves. It's extremely easy to maneuver and it's slim design allows you to reach under couches and furniture very easily, especially since the handle has the ability to bend, making it that much more easier. I love that it's not super loud. Even my husky wasn't scared of it and he usually gets scared when I vacuum. I included a before and after photo of me cleaning my airpurifier filter. While it did remove most of the dust, it did take me several passes. Is this a super powerful vacuum especially if you have pets and children? No. But for anyone looking for an affordable, convenient vacuum for everyday maintenance, I think its a solid choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for your feedback—we’re glad the lightweight design and quiet operation are making everyday cleaning easier in your multi-level home. For improved pickup on tougher debris, try slower passes and emptying the tank more frequently to keep airflow strong. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the ReadyClean for a few weeks and my initial thoughts are very positive:
First, it has WAY better suction than previous cordless vacuum! We don't need to do second passes over every section like we used to. And it can handle larger chunks – not just dust/dirt – like our old vacuum.
It also has a great battery life: even when power light is blinking, it can still clean a whole level of hardwood floor without running out of charge.
While I would definitely put this in the “lightweight” category, the greater suction and longer battery life come at expense of being slightly heavier than our previous ulta-minimalist cordless vac. So it’s a little more difficult for our young kids to manipulate, but overall easy for us to handle, clean around furniture, etc.
My favorite part is the removable tiny vacuum for working in extra tight spaces or the car (though do wish it was slightly easier to re-attach). But those small downsides are well worth how effective it is on both hardwood and area rugs.
In short: we would highly recommend the ReadyClean Cordless for amazing combination of weight, versatility, and power.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V does pretty well for its size. I use it as a daily lite picker upper. I have an Australian Shepherd so my sweet fur baby needs constant cleaning up after. I also have a six month old, I carry her around easily while vacuuming. It maneuvers very well I think that’s probably my favorite thing about it, extremely easy to use, the suction for dog hair is amazing, other little things it could do a little better on, such as small popcorn pieces, might have to do two or three passes over it. I think if it has a little LED light it would be super helpful but it might take away from the suction power and I wouldn’t want that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m going to start off by saying I really liked how light it is, my 2 year old is able to use it easily. It’s nice and slim so it doesn’t take up any room, it also folds in half for storage if you’re limited on space. I like how I can easily press a button that bends the vacuum so I don’t have to move all my furniture to clean everyday messes. However the suction is not very strong, it cleans up kitty litter well but it takes multiple passes to pick up small pieces of cat food. So it will push stuff into a pile and I’ll have to detach the handheld part to pick up the rest. It doesn’t do well at sucking anything against the wall. But if you’re a type c mom like me and you don’t pick up every little thing in your living room to vacuum, you don’t have to worry about sucking up your toddler socks or toys every 5 seconds. But, when it does pick up something questionable it immediately powers off before it can be sucked in, so I really like not having to finagle something down a long hose to pull a stubborn sock out. I wish it kept a longer charge, especially on the days I’m doing a deep clean. I’ll do one side of the house thoroughly then put it on the charger until I need it in the next area. So even keeping just double the charge would help so much. I also like how it’s not just usable in the house but the cordless feature makes it easy to use out in the car as well. It would, however, benefit from having a place to put the attachments so I don’t have to hunt them down every time I need them. So for me it’s about 50-50 when I weight the pros and cons, which is why I rated a 3 star. (Also please excuse my stained carpet, mix matched tile, and unfinished walls)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your honest feedback—we’re glad the lightweight design, safety shut-off, and versatility are making everyday use easier for your home. For pickup concerns, emptying the tank often and checking for any buildup in the foot or air path can help improve performance on small debris and along edges. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell ReadyClean cordless 10.8V stick vacuum is a very practical everyday vacuum to use and folds in half to store away easily. I love how lightweight it is and the swivel head maneuvers so smoothly across the floor. It comes with two attachment heads (crevice & upholstery) which is all I need. I found that the vacuum is also quieter than previous vacuums I’ve used. My favourite part is the detachable hand vac that allows me to clean different surfaces and areas that I can’t reach with a long handle. The hand vac is super easy to detach with just a click of a button and I bring it out to clean up a quick mess like a spill rather than pulling out the entire vacuum. With a toddler and cat at home, it’s so important to me to have a vacuum that is easy to use and that has a strong enough suction to pick up messes. This vacuum does both. I was honestly shocked by the suction strength for this type of vacuum. I have both hardwood floor and carpet at home and the vacuum has no problem working on both. It’s my first time using a cordless vacuum and it’s such a life changer not having to look for outlets and wrap and unwrap cords which discourages me from even vacuuming. Another feature it has is a folding handle that allows me to reach under my furniture, although it doesn’t bend down far enough and is a bit bulky at the bottom to reach far enough. The only downside of this vacuum is the battery life. It takes about 4 hours to charge and lasts me about 20 minutes of use. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment and I was just barely able to do a quick vacuum of the entire place. While it’s good for a quick daily clean here and there, it would be hard to do a deep clean with this vacuum. Overall, I am impressed with this vacuum as it has many amazing features (other than the battery life) and is lightweight and easy to use for everyday messes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom with two kids, a puppy who lives on a working cattle ranch, I always feel like my floors need attention daily, be it broom or vac. Enter this little cordless vac that makes for quick and easy cleaning, quiet enough to run after my kids go to bed but with enough suction to get my floors pretty clean. I love the lightweight design and how it can flex to get under things like beds and couches. It's powerful enough suction wise to clean up dirt and grime, but I do wish it got things a little bigger than it does. I liked how easy it is to pop out the handheld part and found myself doing that to grab cobwebs I'd otherwise have forgotten to come back for, and also used it for shelves and drawers. I did get it pretty full when I used it to clean my whole house, but that's the price to pay for it being so small.
There's no carpet in my house, just hard floors and rugs and honestly this vac does a good enough job my bigger one might go live in storage! Overall it does the job, it's light enough my kids can use it too, easy to empty and pretty space efficient! A win for this farm mom.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really lightweight, cordless vacuum, perfect for elderly people, or in my case, children helping to maintain the house. It has a decent suction that leaves the carpet mostly visibly clean. I did have a cat come to visit me and I noticed some pet hair did not get sucked up, so I’ll have to use my corded vacuum for that. This vacuum is perfect for post-meal messes as you can quickly bring it out and manoeuvre easily under the table and chairs due to the swivel head feature. The vacuum is head is also very optimal! My other vacuums have never allowed me to vacuum beside the toilets or under the front of the kitchen appliances, but this is narrow and slim/low enough to access these spaces.
The vacuum does bend so that you can clean under furniture. This feature is easily accessed by a trigger on the handle, but it is a bit stiff to activate. This could be because the device is new. I must say, I felt that the vacuum head didn’t sit as flush to the floor when it was bent, and so it didn’t clean as well in that mode.
It also doesn’t have different levels of suction, it just has a button to activate the brush roller for carpets. But given that the purpose of this is to allow me to maintain the house, not deep clean, it’s not a problem for me.
Emptying the vacuum tank is pretty easy, although it does require some steps to separate the tank - it’s not as easy as pushing a button while holding it over a trash can like I’ve seen in other vacuums. It’s not a dealbreaker though.
The crevice tool and upholstery tools work well. I just wish there was somewhere on the vacuum I could hook them on to so that they could be stored with the device itself.
The vacuum has a run time of maybe 15 minutes? (I didn’t time it, that’s a guess.) It’s a decent amount of time. The light on the vacuum will indicate if it’s running out of battery. The vacuum charger is a tiny little plug so you can store it anywhere and doesn’t need a docking station which is convenient. Overall, I like this vacuum and would recommend it for home maintenance.
