[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easiest 2 in 1 vacuum! Just take off the handheld piece and get the upper areas and furniture then replace and continue vacuuming the floor. Works excellent on hard surfaces, picks up my little dog fuzz balls and dust, along with all the random kid debris. Really low profile on the head of the vacuum, fits under my cabinets and most chairs, beds, and couches. Very lightweight, easy to grab and do a quick clean up. Battery lasts long enough for any job I’ve needed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first took the Readyclean Cordless 2-in-1 vacuum out of its box, I was struck by its unique design. I've seen many products advertised as "two in one" or "three in one" but this vacuum lives up to the claim just in its appearance alone - the small handheld vacuum is literally built into the larger upright one. I have never seen anything like it before. Essentially the large vacuum acts as a casing for the smaller one. It's an innovative concept for sure but I soon found out the upright vacuum is lacking in features I depend on.
The vacuum needs to be charged before first use, and the owner's manual said this will take 4 hours. To charge the vacuum, the entire machine needs to be connected the wall outlet. This is less than ideal since I would prefer to have a removable battery pack that could be charged separately while keeping the vacuum stored away. However, the vacuum did charge in under 3 hours, so I was pleased with that.
I then realized that nowhere in the owner's manual does it indicate how long the vacuum will actually last on a single charge. I find this frustrating especially as a first time user with no idea of how long I can clean or if my vacuum will suddenly "die." The manual states that the light will blink red when the battery is low without explaining what means or how much time is left. To me, this is a serious omission of crucial information and not something that anyone wants to be surprised by mid-cleaning!
The vacuum also has only one suction level - it's either on or off. I have both carpets and hardwood flooring in my house, as well as small area rugs, and I like to be able to control the suction level based on the surface being cleaned and how messy it is, but there are no settings for this. Furthermore, the vacuum does not have any lighting built into it, which I desperately need to illuminate the dirt on the floor when I am cleaning. This is a major drawback for me personally and made it nearly impossible to tell if the vacuum was actually picking up any dirt, hair, or dust.
As for what I did like, the swivel head is nice and the vacuum definitely feels like it has a lot of suction power, even though it's hard to see what exactly is going on. I emptied the canister several times so clearly it was collecting the cat hair and dust on my floor. I had no issues with it getting clogged with hair or stuck on area mats, which can be problems with other vacuums. The head of the upright vacuum is very low to the ground and easier to get under furniture than most vacuum heads, which tend to be wider and taller.
The vacuum really excels in its handheld form with the two attachments. I love that I don't have to hold down the button while it's in use. The attachments are a little clumsy in that they don't "snap" into place in the machine, but they do stay put. The long attachment works well for getting into crevices and the upholstery attachment works well for couches and chairs.
Because the handheld vacuum performs exactly as it should, but the upright vacuum has so many drawbacks that impede its practical use, I can't help feeling like the larger vacuum exists to be more of a gimmick for the "2-in-1" concept than an actually useful tool. With no lighting, no battery usage indicator, and no power settings, it has too many design flaws to be useful as a whole-house vacuum. Meanwhile the handheld vacuum performs so well that the upright vacuum feels like a large inconvenient case for the smaller one. And while I was impressed with how compactly the vacuum folds down, I didn't find it to be particularly "lightweight," either. Personally I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone except maybe college students in a dorm room or small apartment where space is very limited. If you have a larger apartment or home with multiple family members and/or pets, it would make more sense to invest in a more powerful cordless vacuum with more features and a separate handheld if needed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Christine—we’re glad you liked the handheld performance and innovative design, but we understand the limitations you experienced with features and usability. For the upright machine, keeping the brush and air path clear and using steady, slower passes can help improve pickup and overall performance. If you’d like help getting the most out of your machine or have questions, please reach out to BISSELL support at support.bissell.com or 1‑800‑237‑7691.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this little vacuum! PROS: *Super convenient, compact, and lightweight. It doesn’t take up much space and the top 1/2 of the long handle easily folds down so it could be stored in a variety of places. *Strong suction! I was surprised by how strong it was since it is basically a small handheld vacuum that fits into a larger vacuum frame. It even picked up bits of pretzel and cereal! *Easy to use! Every part of it is easy and intuitive to use. Emptying the dirt cup is a breeze. Separating the handheld portion from the rest of the vacuum is so easy. Folding the handle down is simple and obvious. *Easy to charge and to see when charged or running low on power because it has a light! CON: *The brush roll (which I love, btw - it’s so easy to turn on and off) gets hair wrapped around it easily. This is a common problem with vacuums, but we have 4 long-haired girls in the house so it’s a thing for us.
Overall, I really love this vacuum for our hard floors and low mats/carpet. It cleans so well and is fast and easy to get out and use. It’s quickly become our go to. We don’t even sweep anymore, just grab the little vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a small condo with low-pile carpet, and this vacuum has worked really well for my everyday cleaning. It's lightweight, easy to use, and being cordless makes it super convenient to grab for a quick cleanup instead of pulling out a bigger vacuum. It picks up dust, crumbs, and everyday dirt without any issues on both my carpet and hard floors. I also like that it stands on its own, and the folding handle makes it easy to tuck away when I'm done. The handheld vacuum is a nice bonus. The upholstery attachments work well, and I use them to clean my couch and even take the vacuum out to my car. It's so much easier to clean the seats and floor mats without having to mess with extension cords. My only complaint is the battery life. I wish it lasted just a little longer so I could finish vacuuming my whole condo in one go. Sometimes I have to recharge it before I can finish, which is a little frustrating. Overall, though, it's been a great vacuum for everyday use. If you have a smaller space and want something lightweight and easy to store, I'd definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love how lightweight and easy to maneuver this vacuum is. It can easily get under my sofa and other hard to reach areas that my previous vacuum couldn’t reach without frustrating attachments and hoses. The suction is great and the detachable “dust buster” option has been extremely helpful for upholstery and little nooks and crannies. It is also very easy to use - so easy that my 7 yr old loves grabbing it to clean up her own messes! I can easily say that we use the ReadyClean at least once a day and I rarely need to charge it. It has certainly improved my cleaning routine by making it so easy to grab and clean a small space that needs it instead of feeling like I have to vacuum the entire house.
However, I was disappointed that the brush got tangled with hair and fur rather quickly. There are four girls and two pets living in our home and we were really hoping for something that would do better with hair and fur. Overall, I’m very happy with the vacuum and I use it pretty much daily. It is lightweight, has strong suction, and is very easy to use, but wish that the brush could be improved so that it doesn’t require as much maintenance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids + a pet = Constant mess. Mess + ReadyClean Cordless = Doesn’t stand a chance. This lightweight stick vac tackled a variety of messes in my home, including cat litter and crushed up cheese crackers. With the excellent suction strength, one pass did it all. The low profile allowed me to get under harder to reach areas , like beneath my low clearance antique cabinet and between the wall and toilet. I easily detached the handheld vac to get cat hair off my couch. I’ve used the vac multiple times on one charge and on a variety of surfaces including LVP, tile, and carpet. There was one minor drawback to the set up of this machine, such that when the handle was lowered for storage, there was no locking feature. I pinched my fingers when I was setting it up, but I made sure that I stored it in the full extended position so my kids didn’t pinch themselves- easy fix. Overall, I can’t pick just one favorite feature of this vacuum. The versatility of use is what truly sets it apart- maneuverability, lightweight, and great suction for many surfaces and extensive messes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell ReadyClean cordless vacuum is the perfect solution for a quick cleanup. As a busy mom of 2, I’m constantly to looking for ways to make life’s mundane tasks easier and more efficient. This cordless vacuum is so lightweight and simple to use, even my 3 year old is able to help with cleanup; in fact, both of my kids now fight for the chance to be on vacuum duty, our home has never been cleaner! Our favorite feature is the 2-way folding handle, which makes getting to those hard to reach areas a breeze. This handle design also allows for compact storage, ideal for those of us who are already cramped on space. The only flaw I can think of is the 30-40 minute battery life. While I’m able to fully vacuum an entire floor of my house, it does take 2 charges for my kids to do the same task. All in all, this product receives an A+ from our family! We love it so much we’re planning on gifting one to a few different friends as housewarming gifts!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is super lightweight and easy to store, which I appreciate! It also is super easy to set up and empty/clean out after using. Even though it’s small, it’s actually really powerful. I put a picture of “after” just a quick vacuum because I was impressed by how much it actually picked up. The design also makes it easy to store and use every day. I especially like that I can detach the handheld part because then my kids can use it, too! They think it’s pretty fun, and I particularly like the long attachment for the handheld part because it gets into my couch cushions and around my table legs or wall edges really easily.
