Easy lightweight and effective vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this BISSELL ReadyClean Cordless 2-in-1 to handle daily maintenance around the house, and it’s easily become my most-used cleaning tool. If you hate hauling out a heavy, corded upright just to clean up small crumbs or a bit of dust, this is exactly what you need.
The best feature is the detachable hand vac. With a quick click, it pops right out of the frame. It makes it incredibly easy to transition from doing the floors to vacuuming pet hair off the couch or getting into tight corners. Not having to hunt for an available outlet or constantly trip over a cord while moving between rooms makes cleaning so much faster. It is so light that carrying it up and down stairs is completely effortless.
The folding handle is another brilliant design touch. It collapses down smoothly, so it takes up practically zero space in a small closet. Plus, the swivel steering is super responsive, letting you glide easily around table legs and furniture corners without any wrist strain.
Keep in mind that this is a lightweight maintenance vacuum. It works beautifully on hard floors, rugs, and low-pile carpets. If you have a massive house with thick, plush carpeting that needs a deep, heavy-duty clean, you'll still want a standard plug-in vacuum. But for quick, everyday cleanups and keeping the place tidy, this thing is flawless. Would absolutely buy it again!

Overall decent performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, if you’re looking for something lightweight and portable that has the option for upright and handheld functionalities as well as a beater brush this would be a reasonable option, but don’t expect the performance to outweigh plug-in vacuums or even other handhelds.

It made my home a nicer place to live

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cordless vacuum for everyday messes. I am a stay at home mom with 6 children, and 5 of them are boys! Needless to say, we have a lot of messes in our home. We don't have a lot of extra space, so I'm thankful that this vacuum fold down to make it even smaller to store. It's very lightweight, so even my youngest child can pick it up and carry it over to clean up his mess! Yes, I taught all of them how to use it right away! I also appreciate that the smaller mini-vac detaches so that it can be used on furniture cushions or even on a coffee table. (Yes, I had to do both). Its suction is definitely not strong enough for thoroughly cleaning your carpets from all dirt and hair, in my opinion. To me, this has the right amount of power to use for your average mess and saves me from having to lug the heavier full size vacuum around when I'm in a hurry to get something cleaned up. It also has the bonus of fitting under furniture and in small spaces more easily than a full size vacuum, so I love that it has made things easier for me, because I admit that I'm not likely to move something heavy to fit a vacuum under it! My favorite part is that since it's cordless, and lightweight no one has any excuse not to clean up after themselves in my house and that has made my home a nicer place!

Lightweight With Big Impact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a household consisting of a two year old toddler and a year-round shedding dog. This lightweight vacuum was so handy with sweeping up small every day messes and the tumble weeds of dog hair. I loved I could carry it easily upstairs or downstairs (I’m 30 weeks pregnant too!). I love that the handle folded forward to allow for ease of vacuuming under furniture such as our coffee table. The suction strength was good for what we used it for. Our floors are primarily tile and laminate flooring throughout the house. The battery lasted about a week before needing recharged. I also love how it detaches into a hand vacuum. My husband loved that feature for cleaning the car and car seat. We are very pleased with the overall performance of this cordless vacuum!

Solid affordable option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have one cordless vacuum already that we use on our first floor, but we wanted another one to keep on our second floor, where it seems like we're constantly waging war against the fur from our long-haired cat. Since our vacuuming needs up there aren't as heavy duty compared to the kitchen/dining/family room areas of our first floor, we weren't willing to spend as much as we did. Enter this option, which was a great fit for our needs. This vacuum is lightweight enough for me to maneuver easily around the upstairs. It did take me a little while to get used to the flexible handle, which I haven't seen elsewhere, but it wasn't too bad. And, most importantly, it worked great at sucking up pet hair on carpet, tile, and vinyl flooring. The only complaint for me is that it's a bit bulkier than my other cordless, but considering that one was easily 2x or more in cost, it seems like a fair trade-off for what you get!

Lifesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell ReadyClean Cordless vacuum has been the absolute best vacuum I have owned. I live in a relatively small space and have been looking for something that is small and doesn't take up room but has power to actually clean. This fit the bill! The vacuum can easily detach and break apart for easier storage and to take up less room. So, it can easily go under a bed or a small closet. You can also store it standing upright which also doesn't take up much space. One of the things I love most about this vacuum is how lightweight it is! It is easy to pick up one handed, as well as a breeze to push around carpet and floors without much effort. Assembly was a piece of cake as well as cleaning it. The container with the debris in it comes out super easy with just the push of a button and is easy to take off, empty, and put back on. This vacuum is powerful too. It picked up everything I needed off of both carpet and hardwood floors. The suction was great and cleaned up all of the messes we had with crumbs, hair, etc. The handle on it bends nicely so you are able to get under small areas and underneath furniture. The bottom part swivels so it can reach a lot of awkward areas with minimal movement from the user. Overall, I am highly impressed with this vacuum and would 100% recommend!

Lightweight Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure if this stick vac would meet all of my needs but I figured it would at least handle some of the smaller areas in my home. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the suction and the brush roll to be excellent. I charged the vacuum fully and then used it until the battery died. I was able to vacuum my living room, the rest of my hardwood downstairs, the stairs going to the 2nd floor and the hallway. Being able to pull out the hand vac for the stair crevices and not having to deal with moving the cord was great. I had a couple of carpet strings my cat pulled on the side of a step and the suction was so good, I had to pull the vacuum away. One thing I really like about using the upright form is that I can easily get under my couch and kitchen shelves. Also, it rolls very smoothly and feels sturdy even though it's light. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile vacuum in a lightweight package.

Excellent lightweight vacuum that holds charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household consists of two toddlers, a cat, and a dog, so a trustworthy vacuum is a must-have to maintain a semblance of decorum.
We prefer cordless for ease, and before we got this Bissell we had another brand's cordless- this is not only better by being quieter, and better power capacity, but also far cheaper. We have not had any problems vacuuming the entire house (1400 sq ft- mix of rugs + plank and tile flooring) on a single charge using this, which is very impressive hopefully stays that way. The suction strength is decent and the flexibility of the folding handle makes accessing under tables and chairs easy.
The only thing I would change is the design choice of having to remove the hand vacuum component in order to empty the dirt tank - based on the release buttons you would think they're independent (they aren't).
