Okay vacuum if you are in a pinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this vacuum a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been struggling to decide if I wanted to give it 2 or 3 stars.
Let’s start with the pros: this is a lightweight vacuum, and it does a nice job on hardwood floors. I genuinely love that it’s so easy for getting under furniture. A quick click and it flattens down to go under tables and couches. That’s definitely the highlight, so if you’re looking for something to get those hard to reach places, this works well.
The cons: this vacuum’s suction is not terribly strong. Yes, it picks things up, but I find myself having to go over areas more than once to get everything. I also HATE the part where it collects dirt/debris. The canister is tiny, so I have to empty it multiple times, whereas my other stick vacuum can do multiple rooms before needing to be emptied. Then, when you do empty it, it’s hard to open. It has a tiny lip to open it, but it’s more difficult than it needs to be. And then, once you’ve finally opened you, you have to pull a filter out to empty it. Is it impossible to empty? No. Is it needlessly finicky? Yes. I appreciate that’s not the end of the world, but when I’m trying to get things done, I hate having to constantly deal with emptying the container. Lastly, while it works on carpeting, it’s not awesome. It seems to struggle with it, sometimes making it more difficult to push/pull. I don’t know what you call it, but you know when you push a vacuum and it seems like you’re going against the flow of the carpet? This vacuum seems to do that a lot.
So clearly, for me, the cons outweigh the pros. Why the 3 stars, then? Because if you want something quick, like to run through because your in-laws are coming over in 10 minutes without a proper heads up, this little guy will do a decent job. And, more importantly, it’ll get under the furniture so if your mother-in-law is sitting at the worst angle where she can see under furniture, you can at least pretend to have a clean and functioning house. It’s lightweight, and I really do love the ease to go under furniture.
If you’re looking for a vacuum to be your main vacuum, this is not it. Maybe the best way to describe it is those mops with the disposable pads. They are not going to replace a proper mop. And they aren’t going to get everything. But in a pinch, they are a decent stand in. This is the vacuum equivalent of.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Diane—we’re glad the lightweight design and under‑furniture reach have been helpful in a pinch. For better performance, regularly cleaning the filter, emptying the dirt tank before it gets full, and checking for airflow blockages can help improve suction and ease of use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a toddler and a golden retriever so vacuuming is an every day thing around our house. This cordless, lightweight vacuum has been a lifesaver when I have small messes/clumps of dog hair and don’t want to haul out our heavy vacuum. I have found myself reaching for this one more often due to the convenience of it. It has great suction and is perfect for hard to reach areas (under furniture/ceilings/tight spaces). The only areas I prefer my other vacuum is thick carpet. The charge seems to last a while, and not having a cord to drag around is nice, especially in a house with a toddler. From a house with a lot of messes, I recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with the ReadyClean® Cordless 10.8V Stick Vacuum. What stands out the most to me is the handheld feature—it’s incredibly convenient for quick cleanups on furniture, stairs, and other hard-to-reach spots. I find myself using the handheld mode just as much as the stick vacuum.
One of the biggest advantages is how unbelievably lightweight it is. It’s easy to carry, maneuver, and use without feeling like you’re lugging around a heavy vacuum. I think it’s an excellent option for anyone with limited strength, arthritis, dexterity issues, or anyone who simply wants a vacuum that’s easy to handle.
For everyday maintenance, it’s fantastic. It quickly picks up dust, dirt, pet hair, and crumbs, making it perfect for keeping floors tidy between deeper cleans.
That said, it’s important to know what it’s designed for. It isn’t powerful enough to pick up larger debris or bigger pieces of food, so I wouldn’t expect it to replace a full-size vacuum for heavier messes. But for light, everyday cleaning, it does exactly what it’s meant to do, and I think it does it very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V. The battery lasts long enough for me to clean multiple rooms on a single charge, which, until now, has been one of my biggest gripes about cordless vacs. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to empty the dust canister. It only takes a few seconds, and I don't end up making a mess when disposing of the dirt. The foldable design is maybe my favorite feature. Being able to fold the handle makes it easy to reach under beds, couches, and other low furniture without having to bend down awkwardly. This is actually the first stuck vacuum I've ever seen that has thia feature. For a lightweight cordless vacuum, the suction power is surprisingly strong. It easily picks up dust, crumbs, pet hair, and everyday debris from hard floors and rugs. Overall, it's a great option if you're looking for a convenient, cordless vacuum for everyday cleaning!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With seven children in our home, most of which are pretty young, our floors get MESSY. I think I could sweep 4x a day and still have crumbs! I was obviously pretty excited to get this vacuum. I hadn't vacuumed my living room in a few days and was pretty excited to tackle it. We have longer carpet and it handled it pretty well! It is good for a quick pick up. I did still have to use our big vacuum to get a good, deeper clean though. It was light and easy to use so I really like it for those quick clean ups! It can buzz over my hard kitchen floor quickly as well but doesn't pick up bigger things which can be annoying. I had to get my broom to get the few elbow noodles that had escaped my children's bowls the night before. It does swivel and flexes well, so it is easy get around all the kitchen chairs and furniture which is super convenient! The biggest downsides to the vacuum are both the battery life and how easily it clogs. The battery life doesn't last long enough to do a quick run through of our main floor and upstairs hallways. It does at least get the main floor though! It can clog very easily as well. I have to unclog it almost everytime I use it because it will stop sucking things up and will spit stuff back out. Sometimes its just a little square of paper that went in sideways and got stuck. Sometimes it is fuzz that gets lodged just the right way and clogs it. Unclogging is usually messy too since it dumps everything from the clog all over the floor! The last con is that the attachments don't actually attach to the vacuum. With the kids and I using it for chores regularly, they have already been lost. This all being said, we have a 15 passenger van as our main vehicle and I LOVE this vacuum for cleaning it. I can take the handheld out and get the seats and kids car seats then pop it back in the main stick part to vacuum the floors. This will be our main home for it. I can fold it down and bungee cord it right to the back seat and just bring it in when the battery dies to charge it! It is the perfect vacuum for in there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can I just tell you how this product is making my life easier? I work all day, come home to cook and clean up and take care of my kids and cats. By the end of the day, I am exhausted. The last thing I do is vacuum to make sure the cat hair is not building up on my floors and rug. The ReadyClean Cordless is helping me with strong pickup and is easy to move around the 3 floors of my home. I don’t have to worry about getting to electrical sockets. I don’t have to struggle with the weight of the vacuum. It is very convenient and easy to use. So happy I have this to help make things easier after a long day. I would definitely recommend this product to especially for busy Moms who strive to have their home a clean, happy place!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this vacuum. It was so simple to set up, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it really nice for my kids to use. The low profile front makes it easy to get right up next to baseboards and under cabinets. It works really well on our LVP floor and also does well on our rugs and carpet. I love hanging to open to remove the hand vacuum to be able to use it in smaller spaces or on furniture. So far the battery seems to last a decent amount, and we can get our main living area vacuumed without needing to charge it. I do wish it came with a hanging charger so we could keep the vacuum up on the wall. Overall I think this is a great little cordless vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell Ready Clean cordless is great for quick clean ups. The size is perfect to get right under the kitchen stools. I was blown away by how powerful the suction is considering how lightweight it is (see photo of how much it picked up in only a few minutes!). It’s even light enough to use on the stairs. My home consists mostly of hard floor surfaces and this makes a quick clean up so much easier than dragging out a bulkier corded vacuum or waiting to use a programmed robot vacuum. I am so pleased with this vacuum! It’s slim style and design makes it easy to tuck in beside my cabinets to charge without taking up too much kitchen space.
