Suction on hard floors is disappointing

I replaced my Dyson V11 with this vacuum after it died on me and I have several other Shark products that I love. However, I am sad to say I am pretty disappointed with this vacuum! I have two small dogs, one of which sheds, and this vacuum STRUGGLES to pick up the hair unless you take it extremelyyy slow which just feels inefficient to me. The suction for the carpets is nice, and the boost mode improves hard floors significantly, but the normal mode for hard floors is less than desirable. I am wondering if I got a faulty one or what, but I wanted to love this vacuum so much and I am considering selling and getting something else!

I purchased one for myself for an upgrade for my birthday. Then saw a good sale decided to get one for my son for when he moves out great prices and they have a great warranty They are lightweight but powerful. I like how they come apart to clean too.

Perfect for cat litter

Cat lady’s dream!! This works so effectively on every surface for cleaning up litter, fur, dust and dander! I’ve been using this about a month and it has completely changed my cleaning routine. It’s so simple to clean things up compared to my old vacuum that was attached with a cord and constantly got clogged. Genuinely the best thing I’ve bought in ages lol

Good vacuum, doesn’t have some things we wanted

We do like the vacuum but doesn’t seem to do to well up against baseboards. Doesn’t seem to have enough suction to get crumbs from the corners. Vacuum does not stand up on its own unless the canister is removed first which is an inconvenience if you have to move something while cleaning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible suction

I really wanted to love this vacuum. There are a few things I do love about it. I love the light on it, the fact that it’s cordless, and that it can detach and be handheld is amazing. However, the suction is awful on this vacuum. I can go over my floor over and over again and it still won’t pick debris up, which is such a bummer because then I have to get another vacuum out to go over it which defeats the purpose of this vacuum. When I vacuum my rug, it just pushes the dog hair around instead of sucking it up. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lame vacuum.

I’ve had this vacuum for less than a year and the brush stopped spinning. Mind you, I have a robot vacuum that I use downstairs so this vacuum is just for a mayyyybe 400sf loft. Hardly used. Very disappointed, I had a shark vacuum in my twenties that lasted for years.

Good but disappointed

It's easy to use on the floors and very malleable. It wouldn't pick up certain bits like little styrofoam -- I still had to get a broom out. I also find the attachments are not very effective. Though lightweight, you are holding/supporting the bulk of the weight of the machine so after awhile, it's tiresome. I also had to wait over three weeks as FedEx lost the package.

Great vacuum!

Exactly what I needed. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and sucks up all the dust—more than I even knew was there. Not having a cord to drag around is so convenient, and the automatic transition between carpet and flooring is great. So glad I purchased it!
