Powerful suction, light weight, easy to store!

The best upgrade yet since moving away from my competitor battery-powered stick vacuum. This Shark Detect is powerful, light, and provides a deep clean that made me realize what my old vacuum was leaving behind.
I absolutely love the feature that allows you to easily click the stick away from the rotator brush to jump right into crevice mode with the tools. Plus, being able to remove the engine for compact storage is a huge bonus.
One minor downside is that the dust canister is on the smaller side, but it's definitely not enough to deter me from purchasing it. It's also incredibly easy to empty and clean, with a great filtration system. Highly recommend!

Great light weight vacuum

I bought this for my cleaning ladies. I have had a Shark Lift a Way professional go many years. I loved the lift a way. However, my cleaning ladies showed me this vacuum, I called Shark and asked what vacuum would be the best for Carpet. The lady recommended this one. She wasn’t wrong. It’s perfect. My cleaning ladies love how light and easy it is. Works great. Especially on my carpeted stair way.

I PURCHASHED A LOWER MODEL WHICH I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH BUT THIS MODEL WORKS GREAT, MUCH BETTER

Upgrade would be better-too cheap

Lightweight bound for short life. Bucket latch to empty very flimsy. Cord when rolled tighty ends up on top of hook making impossible to snap on cord. Ergonomically dos not rest well in the hand with major side strain to wrist. No wonder it’s on clearance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Weak Suction

I bought this Shark vacuum in October 2025, and within two months the suction was clearly weak. It struggles to pick up even small debris on tile floors, and I’ve always had to sweep after using it.
I regularly clean the filter and dustbin, so clogging isn’t the issue—the performance just isn’t there. Less than a year later, I’m already shopping for a replacement. I’m very disappointed in both the product and the brand.
I really wanted to love this but I'm so disappointed

I love this vacuum. I only gave 4 stars because I have ended up with very sore hands and bruises from the handle. It is very top heavy and puts pressure on my hands when holding it.

I bought this for my mother, she is 87 and was looking for something light and easy to use. Very happy with it, works great all the attachments that came with is really all that is needed. Small container for collection, but good for just doing a room or 2 at a time!
