I like, but...

I like the vacuum, but, it is not able to stand on its own, which I'm not real happy with. But when I use it, it performs well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this several times now , the dust cup is so small I have to empty several times when vacuuming my living room . It seems cheaply made. Stuff gets caught inside floor nozzle with no way of getting it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you see any hair wrapped around the self-cleaning brushroll, continue cleaning, using setting I, Carpet mode, on a bare-floor surface, and the brushroll should automatically remove the hair wrap. If some hair wrap remains after continued use, open the bottom of the floor nozzle, and carefully remove the hair from the brushroll. If you have any other questions or need assistance with anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We're here to help.

Heavy and clumsy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum worked really well on my carpet and not as good on my wood floors. I gave it only 3 stars because it is heavier than my Dyson. I also don’t like that you have to take out the dust bin to empty it. It is a bit clumsy. I also didn’t like the cord. I much prefer my cordless vacuum.
I would have given it only one star until I vacuumed my area rug. I was very impressed by how much dirt it picked up out of my area rug.

Great vacuum

Lightweight yet powerful, the Shark Detect™ Ultral

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Shark Detect™ Ultralight with PowerFins Detect™ Corded Stick Vacuum for free in exchange for my honest review, and I am seriously impressed!
The suction power is excellent—it easily picks up dirt, pet hair, and fine dust from both hard floors and carpet without needing multiple passes. The filtration system does a great job of trapping dust and allergens, which I appreciate as someone who wants cleaner air while vacuuming.
It’s very maneuverable—lightweight enough to handle with ease and slim enough to get under furniture and into corners without struggling. The dust cup capacity is decent for an ultralight model; it holds more than I expected, though I do find myself emptying it more often when tackling larger clean-ups.
The noise level is moderate—powerful but not overwhelmingly loud, making it comfortable to use without feeling disruptive.
Overall, this vacuum combines strong cleaning performance with easy handling. If you’re looking for a lightweight corded stick vacuum that doesn’t compromise on suction or filtration, this is a fantastic choice!

Works but frustrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally prefer cordless vacuums but decided to give this one a try, and it’s nice not to have to worry about charging it. I like that it’s lightweight and glides across the floor. It’s easy to use and quick to assemble. The light on the front makes it easy to spot messes on the floor.
However, the vacuum head is very narrow, I think it would be better if it were a little wider. And the dust container is also super small. My biggest pet peeve though is that it won’t stand on its own. When you go to clean the dust container or even store it, it has to be leaning up against something. If you take the handheld part off it will stand, but then you have nowhere to store the cord.

Best. Vacuum. Ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the BEST vacuum I have ever had! Heavy duty suction power but compact and lightweight. Super powerful suction both forward AND backward. The easiest vacuum filter cartridge I’ve ever seen. Just pop it out, empty it and pop it back in! Gets every last crumb, even the big chunks!

An absolute essential product to any household!!!!

I vacuumed our carpet with our current vacuum and then vacuumed with The Shark Detect and I’m ashamed at what our current vacuum did not pick up! (See photos)
The Shark Detect was quiet, but had strong suction power. I could literally feel the suction to the carpet as I was running it. It is lightweight making it easy to maneuver. The slenderness of the product makes it fit perfect to get those hard to reach places like under the couch, chairs and table! There were no dust particles flying around as I was running it, but I could see so much dust/dirt in the full up the cartridge.
The accessories are amazing! The motor part comes off the stick to make it a handheld device to reach places like the couch, along the baseboards and even my fan blades. My carpet, fans and baseboards are all clean as new as I couldn’t put this product down. I was trying it on EVERYTHING in my house. It is so easy to use!
It has self cleaning rollers also! No more fighting gross hair wrapped around the rollers! It filtered it all into a separate part of the filter and it kept it wrapped around the cone shape piece to make removing the hair quick and easy. After all the vacuuming was complete the rollers looked just as clean and new as they when I assembled the product.
We also loved the face that it is completely versatile! We have a combination of carpet, hard wood and area rugs in our home. This product works all all flooring types. So, no more multiple flooring cleaning devices for our household!!
We are extremely happy with this product overall!! I will definitely be recommending this to all of my friends and family!
