I purchased this as my HP Laptop was no longer able to run my photo editing applications, it was a fairly new laptop, just didn't have the specs. I did the research and for my budget, this Vivobook is AWESOME.

Although I’m just starting to use this laptop I’m finding all the tools and apps that are helpful. I enjoy the backlit display the colors are a plus, the 16” display screen is excellent for my workspace, the processor is fast enough that there’s no lag in changing from email to websites, to my drawings. I really like the biometrics.

Nice computer except when you allow Windows 11 to control your so-called backlight keyboard. Luckily I was able to find how to change Windows to allow the backlight keyboard to actually change colors as it was designed.

Slow updating taking all day ,my MSI blew through updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do understand your disappointment with the laptop and the inconvenience thismay have caused if you are experiencing slow update. This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless of what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptops will do several system reboots, black screens temporarily or restart during the update process. Once the initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation are completed and drivers are updated, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "MyASUS" utility software or application.
